Not a Good Store 5/31/2010

Staff was not very helpful and the framing department was lame. It's small, crowded and does not have a lot of the usual items I find in other Michael's stores. This is the worst Michaels I have ever been in. more

Selection is great, staff not so much 9/13/2005

Arts & Crafts 7/2/2005

I really enjoyed this Michaels location. They are kind of small, but had a pretty nice selection of craft supplies. Check out service could be better. A lot of the items on sale were sold out and rainchecks weren't available. more

Good sales and clean 6/15/2005

I like this Michaels because it seems better organized then other branches of the store. The items seem to get restocked regularly so that they do not sit in heaps. Also, when the circulars come out with sales, they don't run out of items right away. more

Crowded and small 5/29/2005

This Michaels store, located in the Seven Corners area, is one that I try to avoid. It is small and crowded and not very clean. it is hard to find what one is looking for and the staff is not very helpful. They don't have a very big selection of yarns. They do have a good supply of scrapbooking items. There is plenty of parking near the store. I would only go visit if they had something I had to have on a huge sale. more

Good prices 5/6/2005

This is a very good store if you know what you want. The people who work there are not expert. They remind me of the people who represent the U.S. Post Office at a stamp exhibit. No knowledge, and no interest. But that's OK. At least they show up every day. Do you research ahead of time. They have a website you can go to. Set your budget. Write down the stock numbers if possible. Bring a list. Give it to the clerk. Get your stuff, and get out. Seven Corners has lots of parking. PROS: Good prices CONS: Not very helpfull more

Thankfully Michaels 5/6/2005

When I moved to Arlington, Virginia from Baltimore, Maryland, the first thing I did was find out where the nearest Michaels store was. After all I cannot live without my arts and crafts supply store. And, thankfully, there was one close by. Located in a big strip mall, Michaels is the place to go if you are into crafts, like me. This particular Michaels is not the cleanest store Ive been to, but it does the trick. Decent prices and plenty of project ideas to choose from, Michaels blows the competition away (like the Joanne Fabrics next door). The employees at this Michaels arent necessarily helpful or knowledgeable about arts and crafts, but they try a little. more
