Container Theft 10/13/2009

Manila Forwarder uses professional and accredited trucker's to transport their container from their secure warehouse in eagle Rock to Port of Long Beach. Unforseen events happen like this theft. It will be nice to baby sit all of our containers but no professional feight forwarder do that. This is an issue of theft. period. That's why there is insurance, too. All of the packages involved in this theft are insured and those who have submitted the documentations have been paid. That's what professional company do. more

Wrong Information 10/13/2009

ETA stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. As such, estimates are subject to change. Typhoon changes ship schedules if you are not aware. This comment was made just after the Philippines was hit by double typhoon causing deaths to more than 300 human beings and most places are still under water. Such shipment ETA's are posted infront of our website, www.manilaforwarder.com. It changes on a regular basis as the situation changes. There will be more delays in this shipment as our Philippine staff are prioritizing the deliveries of the care packages to those affected by the typhoon, some of whom have nothing to eat until now. Let's be real folks! If the complainant do not care about the well being of countrymen who are in need, Manila Forwarder does! MP more

Wrong Information 10/12/2009

It's my first time to ship through MF. I've read so much positive reviews about it that it made me decide to have my brother-in-law ship the item through them. After a few weeks of being picked up from the place of origin, I tried to track the package through MF's website, unfortunately it did not provide anything useful as it did not indicate the ETA in Manila. I called their Manila office on a thursday and I was informed by a male staff that the ship bearing my package would arrive that coming saturday and that the package would be delivered within the following week. Monday came and again I called their office to check, I was told that the ship had arrived on saturday and that the package will be delivered within the week. Excited and all, I again called MF's office on Tuesday to check if the package was already cleared and enroute for delivery. Unfortunately and surprisingly, I was informed by their office that the ship has not yet arrived and that the ETA would not be until Wednesday night and that they estimate that the package would be delivered the following week. I have no problem if the delivery of the package has been delayed, if there is a really a reason for it, (these things happen) what I am disappointed at is the way I was misinformed, not once but twice, by MF's staff which I was unfortunately unable to get the name of. I hope that MF's staff would be more careful next time in giving information, otherwise, it might ruin their reputation in the freigt business. I would also suggest that their tracking program would be more specific as to the location and ETA of the package. I shall now wait for my package and hope that the information given to me this time would be correct. I also hope that the package is delivered to me safely and without incident. I also hope that Mr. MP would look into this matter. more

Wet Boxes 10/5/2009

Philippines just experienced typhoon Ondoy leaving the whole city under water, some flood as high as roof of houses. Sure there will be delay and wet packages. Not all is wet in our shipment but that should be understandable. Let's get real folks. more

Items arrived opened and damaged and late 10/5/2009

I am an online shopper and I have used Manila Forwarders 4-5 times now in over a year. I have not had any problems with them until recently. Their air cargo arrived late; additionally, some of my items were opened and stained, as if wet during delivery. These opened/damaged items were placed at the bottom of the box and it's impossible that they have been wet during delivery as the other items surely would have been affected if this was so. Hence, my only conclusion is that my items have been opened and stained and wet from their warehouse. more

Great Service 8/16/2009

I have used Manila Forwarder for three years and countless boxes after. I have not encountered any problem with them and find their service great. I often refer them to friends who wish to bring in items from the US to the Philippines. They are super reliable and they could expect more business from me in the future. more

CONTAINER THEFT MAY 2009 6/16/2009

The truck company picked up the container in their eagle rock warehouse for a sched shipping on 5/30/09. They do not know that the closing time is at 4:30pm. They could have stopped the pickup if they know that it will not be able to meet the cutoff time. Since they missed the connection, the truckers should have driven back the container back to their eaglerock warehouse for safekeeping instead of just parking it somewhere in an unknown/unguarded location. Manila Forwarders could have monitored the transit from the origin to the port of origin but instead they only knew the incident when the trucking company called them. more

Reply to worst shipping company review 5/31/2009

I personally communicated with this complainant contrary to his claim that we never answer his concerns. A request for his shipping documents was made to make a detailed investigation shows that there is no document at all to support his shipment. Manny Paez Manila Forwarder more

Worst Shipping Company 4/8/2009

I shipped a box (80#) from Manila to Las Vegas. The box was pilfered and 2/3 of the items (over $1000) were stolen. The answer, The person who handled your box in Manila no longer works for the company. NEVER NEVER NEVER use Manila Forwarders. They will not return phone calls or emails. The worst company I have ever dealt with and I am in business. more

Manila Forwarders 8/21/2005

I have used Manila Forwarders twice now to send packages to the Philippines. They are very efficient with their service and are also pretty quick. My grandmother in the Philippines received my packages that I have sent to her within a month of my sending them. The staff are very nice as well. more
