We let a handful of small jobs build up before we called for a plumber. Jeff Jarvis, from Mallick Plumbing and Heating came out to review the work and advise us on an appropriate course of action. It was a pleasant surprise to hear him explain that certain jobs need not be done or could be done less expensively that we had expected-so we felt Jeff was looking out for us right from the start.
To minimize costs, we bought materials directly: faucets and sinks. Jeff and an assistant replaced a basement utility sink, replaced a kitchen sink faucet and garbage disposal, and replaced a master bath shower faucet (required cutting back wall). Work was done neatly and quickly. We liked that Jeff was a good communicator and ensured both me, wifey, and grandma were OK with his proposed work and plan. Jeff and his assistants were OK with our yappy dogs too!
The final bill was about $1,500. We appreciated Jeff eliminating some labor time downtime waiting for glue to dry. Impressive classy move.
