This is the first time I have used Mallick. They were pleasant on the phone and set me up for the next morning. Plumber Billy Clem came promptly, with a great smile and a pleasant attitude. He explained the company rates, then he went over my projects that needed attention, then got to work. He periodically updated me on developments and anticipated costs. He knew his trade, did the work, then cleaned up. It was a good experience. more

We had a leak in the ceiling that was dripping water over everything. We called and within a couple of hours on a Saturday night Mike came and fixed the problem. He was professional, courteous, honest and knew what he was doing. He even came in under the original estimate. We would definitely use this company again. more

He called prior to the appointment to let me know the time he would arrive, reviewed the issue and resolved within an hour. Frank R did a really good job at my home today. While replacing a leaky pipe Frank found an unexpected problem with the bathtub fixtures. Ordering the needed replacement parts would have taken two weeks but Frank went out of his way to go out and find the parts in order to fix the problem today. Otherwise my shower would have been out of commission for two weeks! Great work. I'm very grateful. more

Billy was great. I had him take care of an issue with the dishwasher that had come up with my home inspection. It was the installation of an air gap that had not been installed when the dishwasher was put in 5 years ago. While doing that work, he noticed a couple of other items that should be taken care of. It turns out that when my disposal was replaced, they had nicked one of the wires and also had not used a wire clamp. Those items will be taken care of by my electrician. He also noticed that the shut off valves were not working correctly. He installed new hot and cold shut offs. Billy was very thorough and I would definitely want him coming out for any issues with this house or wherever I end up moving. more

Frank initially responded for my complaint of the well pump re-cycling every three or four minutes. After some brief troubleshooting, he found a leak in the well between the pitman connector and the pipe leading to the house. Frank had to order the parts and instructed me on how to continue to use the well pump without over-taxing the pump during the week-end. This morning he returned with his assistant and they dug down and replaced the faulty part. We were back in business shortly thereafter, and all seems well! I had used Van Sant plumbing in Mt. Airy for thirty plus years until they were recently bought out by BGE. I used BGE once and found them to be expensive and not what I had learned to expect from Van Sant. I had a tub faucet problem some months later and called BGE. I was told they could not find the older faucet replacement part. As a result, I called Mallick for that repair. You sent a representative out w/o charging me for the estimate. He quickly located the part and repaired the faucet after the part arrived. The hot/cold adjuster was replaced and continues to operate perfectly. I called Mallick for this repair as I felt your company was professional, reasonable in pricing, and your technician had found a replacement part that BGE couldn't be bothered to find. Frank and his partner were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to use Mallick plumbing for all of my future plumbing or heating needs as I feel you employ trustworthy and loyal employees and display the same small town friendly "customer first" attitude that Van Sant used to provide.
