Great place for Mediterranean! 12/15/2008

There is often a lot of competition between this place and Open Sesame, which is down the street. I personally think that they are equally great places to dine if you're into authentic Mediterranean cuisine! I also like the kabobs, especially the chicken ones. The beef kabobs are slightly on the dry side, but that may have just been a one-time thing. I'd definitely go back again! more

Magic Lamp has the best Lebanese Food in all of California. 12/10/2008

Great Lebanese food. Of all the restaurants in the Long Beach Belmont Shore area, Magic Lamp is the best. Great kabobs, falafel and shawarma. Pita bread is amazing, they make it there fresh. They also make Lebanese zaatar pizza and lahmajeen. Vegetarian dishes are also on the menu. I love this place and highly recommend it. Great food, nice atmosphere, amazing experience. Great Food 10/3/2008

This is a little restaurant in the heart of the Belmont Shore shopping area of Long Beach. The food is always great and there is a small patio area. Some favorites are the fillet mignon (kabobs), and seafood kabobs. It is moderately priced, and the food is especially refreshing on hot days. A great appetizer is the cauliflower. It is cooked with garlic and comes with small pitas and a sauce that you can pour over it. I was a skeptic at first, but try it, you'll like it! If you like hummus and Mediterranean food, you will like this place. more

BEST LEBANESE FOOD AROUND, AWESOME ATMOSPHERE 2/24/2008

This place is a must visit. The food is amazing, service is great, the staff extremely attentive. They make the best Chicken Tawook and SHAWARMA around. This place actually bake their own pita bread in house. The humus and baba ganouj are to die for. I eat Lebanese all the time but this place is th ebest by far. It outshines the competition by far.
