Broken furnace 9/25/2016

We just moved into our first house a month ago, and tried the heating system for the first time today to find it wasn't working properly (blowing cold air). I e-mailed MacFarlane and they got in touch right away to schedule a service call that day (a Sunday). The technician, Frank C., was fantastic, very thorough and explained to us why things were not working right, and what he could do right now, and what would need to be done in the immediate future. more

Oil Burner Service call 9/1/2016

The Service Tech arrived early. He explained what he was going to do as part of the service. When done, he explained what he had noted about the performance of the burner, and left the area as clean as he found it. His explanations were very helpful and it appeared that he did a very thorough job. more

A/C Repair 8/10/2016

My ac had been out for a week or more and I made an appointment with MacFarlane Energy, the company that installed my heating and ac system. I missed my first appointment window because I happened to have been in the hospital emergency room but the tech they sent out, Thomas R., was very understanding. He also showed up when I rescheduled the appointment, which I was pleasantly surprised to get on the same day I called. Thomas was friendly and knowledgeable and found a "hidden" leak that prior techs had missed. He left an hour later and my ac was working again, a real godsend with this heat wave approaching. more

Years of excellent service 3/25/2016

Dennis C. was at my house on 3/25/16 to perform the yearly tune up on my oil heat system. I have had an excellent relationship with MacFarlane for years (~15+) and Dennis C. continued that relationship. I also use them for my rental condo.- Dave more
