I did a lot of online investigation into well-rated West Valley City moving companies and known as a number of movers for quotes. MSA Moving Company provided the best hourly rate, and I decided to go with them. The three movers were promptly, very professional, and very helpful. They completed my move to a new studio in lust a few hours, and everything arrived here in fine condition. The charge at the end of the move was as decided, although there were a few additional $10 charges for shrink-wrap for that couch and a bag for that chair. Recently i hired MSA Moving Company to help me with my move. They made a stressful experience smooth and easy. The first thing that impressed me about MSA Moving Company, would be that the owner, personally came to my apartment to make the estimate. In all the years of living in West Valley City and all the moves I've made, this was the first time that the owners has had the time and care to actually make sure I was being taken care of. Your day of my move, the men that came to move me were so wonderful. They were polite and courteous and were extremely careful wonderful my belongings. It was my first move, so naturally We have lot and lots of questions, and all sorts of were answered patiently by the very patient Christi who won my opportunity with the professionalism. Every little detail she set it up and my husband when we conference called concerning the hourly price and extra cost of supplies, was a big help on the road day. We were packed and ready for the movers, and had an easy, surprise free move. Well, no bad surprises anyway. There were nice ones: they provided an arrival window of 8:000-10:00am, and arrived on 8:05. Which was a good start and I was glad the day kept going in that direction. STAY AWAY! MSA Moving Company was just Moving Services of America in June 2011 but have changed their name (once again) to cover up the fact that they're not a legit company that will hold your stuff hostage. Google every one of their addresses and you will come up with a storage facility (who knows nothing about them). You will have a recording of a Nichole or Sherry (ext. 14 and 15) who will NEVER return your calls once they have your credit card number and your possessions. Google MSA and Moving Services of America and compare the websites and phone numbers... they are all fake and there are several all over the US (midwest, CA, CO, KS, NV, WA, UT, WY, etc). They will hold your items hostage and double the weight of your shipment and the total amount due and you will not get your belongings back until you pay what they demand. If its too late have your stuff reweighed. Call local police and request civil standby during delivery and police at reweigh. Call the many #'s for the company and be persistent - someone will answer eventually and cancel your credit card. They are not a registered company, are not licensed with DOT and have over 53 complaints with the BBB. Contact FDOT and google Mover Rescue. DO NOT LET MSA drive away with your possessions!!! I just moved last weekend and I used MSA Moving Company and I have to say they were the best and most experienced moving company I have ever used. They were on time, efficient, careful, friendly and quick. Everything you could possibly want in a moving company. They really took the stress out of moving. My family used MSA Moving Company movers for the past 8 years. Their packers were and quick and very careful. I used them to pack my 2 bedroom home and I thought it would take them at least 10 hours. They were done in 6 hours with 4 packers. MSA Moving Company moving crew and also top notch. Movers were running 15 minutes late and called me to let me know that they were stuck in traffic. That was a great surprise! I never though it would be such a smooth move to my new apartment. I was very excited about moving but was quite stressed. Flat rate managed to work around my schedule and changed the start time a few times until everything worked out between the buildings and my schedule. They even called the building and sent insurance (my building is very strict). I was impressed. I didn't have to worry about anything and that's how it should be. Great service! I just moved and it was a fantastic moving experience. The crew of 3 was fast and efficient and damaged nothing. They even had to go up 2 flights to get all of my stuff and go up 2 flights to put it away in the new place. They asked me where I wanted stuff placed. The price didn't change even though there were a few extra items not mentioned for the estimate (that must always happen). I highly recommend using this moving company. Knowing the cost before you move is great, and then you don't have to hope they hurry it up to keep it cheap. more
