Terrible customer service and they are judgmental towards lower middle class patients and jump at the chance to service anybody that this higher end. They are quick to diagnosis you with inaccurate findings based on your appearance and ignore any concerns you have. There are many other places that are far more superior to their customers and offer better varieties of treatment for cheaper in just as nice settings. Management is rude and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I'd hate to have someone have the same experience as I did, and I gave them two chances over 7 years and nothing had changed... They are money grubbing people and do tell too insurance will cover everything and then bill you in full when its denied on top of everything. Be very cautious, acupuncture is great, but there are sooooo many places close by that are friendly and honest. Explore your options! more

Dr. Doane has been my "secret weapon" in my third round of battling cancer and the side effects of chemo and radiation. He has been able to attune his treatment protocol and the herbs he prescribes to precisely what my body needs at that moment. I have done the cancer thing several times before and I can honestly say that I have been much less affected by the oncological treatments this time around than I had been previously. I absolutely love the Accupuncture & Wellness Center. My husband had 27 years of knee pain which is now completely gone. He suffered from a chronic shoulder pain which now feels so much better that he can throw the ball for the dog. It was recommended that both be replaced. Cost of replacements well over $10,000.00\r \r He is also a type 2 diabetic, before the Accupuncture & Wellness Center, he took pills and 4 seperate shots of insulin to maintain his blood sugar, now he just takes two pills. No Shots. \r \r Jerry has also suffered from sever asthma and allergies most of his life and has to use a CPAP at night just to breath regularly, now although he is still taking the prescribed asthma medicine, the CPAP machine is not being used at all and he is in hopes that he will soon be taken off the allergy medication completely only be required to carry a rescue inhalor in case of emergencies. \r \r I no longer have the tension and pain in my neck. I have been going there for the last few years and feel that the acupuntcture and the Chinese herbs have kept me in very good health. They monitor my blood pressure, allergies and my other pains. I am lucky to have Bob and his specialized staff that make my everyday life the top of the top. Look for Bob at the different fairs as he has a booth and offers a free checkup. He is always so positive and helpful. The staff is so kind and affirming also, and I feel great every time I go. I had tried everything you could think of for my back pain - chiroproactic, massage, P.T. and injections - nothing worked. I heard about this clinic from a co-worker, and I figured "What the heck, what have I got to lose?" I called the office and was immediately scheduled for a consultation. They were very caring of the fact that I was in a lot of pain, so they made sure I got in right away. I really appreciated that they took the time to talk to me first, some places will just take your money even if they can't help you. I went to the consultation, and talked to an acupuncturist about my pain. They took the time to really listen to me & they did not charge me for the consultation! I chose to become a patient, and they do spend alot of time during that first visit really going into detail of exactly what my problems were. I read the other review, and they seemed upset about the time and cost, but I know I could never have gotten my Dr. to spend that much time listenting to me! I thought it was great! I then started the acupuncture treatments and I couldn't believe it... my 5+ year back pain was gone. I tell everyone I know who is in pain, "go see Bob, he will take it away!" I feel like I have my life back now, and can do things I hadn't done in years. This was worth every penny and I would wholeheartedly recommend this clinic! Pros: It works and the staff is great! This clinic has very good practitioners but with a very high and mighty attitude! Last year they started charging you $150 for filling out a health questionare and having someone go over it with you! That doesn't include any treatment at all, it's just to talk to let them and tell them what hurts or what you want to be seen for. I think these people went into the wrong business, they think they are lawyers! I went in for what I thought was a treatment, paid $225, was given a defensive lecture about acupuncture not being hocus pocus, and then was told about their 4 day process of treatments that they require to figure out how your body responds, which was another $150 for me! I told them that if I had known about their system, I wouldn't have come in and I asked for a full refund, which they wouldn't give. They just gave me back the treatment cost. So I paid $150.00 to sit for an hour filling out paper work and then get a half an hour lecture about how I could afford treatment if I really wanted to. I immediately called another Doctor and made an appointment and, guess what?, he doesn't charge any extra to find out what's wrong with me before I'm treated. I can ask him all the questions in the world and he explains everything without any extra charges, much less a whopping $150.00!! I really don't have money to throw around like that. This doctor likes to tell you he's the only one in town that bills certain insurances (which I found out was wrong, there were 15 others!) and how he's the biggest and best clinic around and that's how they are justified charging this amount. But my husband went to him back before they started doing this "system" and it's seems as if now they are just too focused on the money. Pros: Good results Cons: Too costly and a self-rightous staff.
