Spicy Vietnamese;p 2/28/2010

Order anything Vietnamese from the Pho soups to the Vietnamese salads! The chow fun noodles are nummy, and the egg rolls and spring rolls are a must. Finish off your meal with a bubble tea, Vietnamese coffee or a cute lil flan! All the food is fresh, made to order and the prices are very affordable. Pros: Fast,Fresh & Friendly Cons: Can't eat there everyday!!! more

great food with the best service in town 8/7/2008

I used to live in the neighborhood so I'd go to the Lotus often. I haven't been back as much since moving, but when I do go it's still a treat. They have AWESOME veggie egg rolls, and their cream cheese wontons are great. I love their main dishes too. This is a family run place and it was fun to see the kids who worked there 10 years ago all grown up. The service here is EXCELLENT. I have never seen such great customer service. On my last 2 visits I saw the staff truly go above and beyond. Pros: great food, excellent service Cons: not a ton of seating, parking can be a pain. more

Very tasty, great service 7/9/2008

We ordered the fresh spring rolls and bowls of seafood pho and beef pho. Everything twas fresh, including the condiments (bean sprouts, basil, lime, etc.), and flavorful. For extra flavor, we added fish sauce to the pho even though it was fine without it. The service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for great Vietnamese pho. Pros: tasty food, great service Cons: limited parking more

Really Good Asian Food! 9/23/2006

I tried this place after moving to Loring Park, and a friend recommended it. Within walking distance to my house, and the people are very helpful. They have combos that are enough for two meals, and very reasonably priced. Not the best Asian food I have had in the Cities, but really good and convenient! An extremely diverse group of customers every time I'm here. Greats: potstickers, fried rice. Try the Rice Noodles, they are really good. Pros: Close to Loring, good food, good service Cons: Very few tables inside more

Good quick food a good price. 8/29/2006

Been going to this place for a few years now, and I love the Lotus. If you are in Loring Park and looking for a good cheap eat, go here. Check out the Curry Soup...It""s good! My only complaint would be the hours. The Lotus closes a little early for my taste. more

Simply the best 4/10/2005

I ve been going to the Lotus on Grant street for over 10 years... Very nice family, excellent, excellent food. fast and friendly service... you can't ask for anything more. Simply the BEST in town!!! Pros: fast, friendly, excellent food more

best in town!!! 7/14/2003

Seriously it is the best both in food quality and in service. If you live near here the take out is un-beatable. Phone ahead and the orders ready in 10 minutes but during lunch time they have many (most) items ready to go. I've eaten here weekly for years, NEVER (seriously, NEVER) have I been unhappy. The curry chicken is the best I've ever had but there's not a bad choice on the very, VERY extensive menu! Pros: quality, service, take-out more
