What ever happened to dealerships wanting to make the sale and being helpful to the customer? This dealership doesn't do that and we will not be back.

George Castillo came and picked my son and I up and drove us to his lot to look for another vehicle for our family. We love Lone Star and tell all of our friends to buy there. Which one of them have already purchased a new vehicle there shortly after I bought one. Yeah!! Love that you support our military vets also!! more

Want to buy a car, ask for Stanley! Want great service, ask for Valentin! Yes.. it took a little awhile, but after being owner for several years, it did have some issues, just like anything you buy, I was never satisfied with another service guy had. Decided to try someone else and was recommended to Valentin, and his service is just GREAT every time! Like I said, it did take a little while with the issues on my car, but he gave me a call every time with an update on all that was going on with my car and why it would take a little while to be ready, for instance.. had to order a some parts and what time and how long it would take to get there and while giving me an update on the parts, was also updating me on what service was being done to my vechicle as we spoke. My car was ready sooner than expected. I recommend using Valentin as your service guy! Thank you and thanks to his team who worked on my car! Great Job! :) more

WORST SERVE EVER AND NO INTEGRITY! Took 6/4/2012

WORST SERVE EVER AND NO INTEGRITY! Took my 2012 Chevy Traverse for oil change, rotate tires and had some issues with the alingment. I made appt. like they askeD for faster service. Could not get service tech to call back and after having my car all day, He said there was nothing wrong with alignment there was no left pulling and that it was the road. I explained that also had a 2012 chevy silverado and those issues were not occuring with that vehicle. He basically said I we were imagening and they were not going to do anything else and for me to pick up my car. after I gave him a piece of my mind and told him it was a new car and spent $45,000 I wanted them to fix it correctly. He pretty much said he was done with me and hung up. I talked to the manager and after the manager test drove the car, he admited there was a problem and it would get fixed but I would have to wait another day for my car. The next morning the manager called me and said all was good and the alignment was fixed.i GUESS THE MANGER HAD THE TECH CALL ME. i DONT KNOW WHY BECAUSE HE SURE DID NOT APOLOGIZE, ALL HE SAID WAS THAT MY CAR WAS READY. When I picked up my car I found out that the roation of tires was not preformed and now I will have to go back. IF IT WASN'T BECAUSE OF THE WARRANTIES AND IT BEING THE CLOSEST CHEVY DELEARSHIP, I WOULD NEVER GO BACK! more

This place has amazing customer service!! Mike Davis helped me when I was there and he went above and beyond helping me out. He is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Great Experience in buying a new truck! 3/20/2012

I had originally visited the used car lot to look at both a lifted 2009 F250 and lifted F150 that they had on the lot. I was about to pull the trigger on the F250 when something told me to visit the new car lot to check pricing on a 2012 Silverado. I found pricing on the new Silverado's to be just a little higher than the F250 I wanted so I decided to talk to a salesman. Harry Doggett came over and we started chatting on the different 2012 Silverado Models. I told him exactly what I wanted, what options, what color, and he found the perfect truck for me. I was able to get the payments I wanted and financing was painless. Harry worked with me each step of the way to ensure I left with the exact truck I wanted (they even added a rear DVD at no charge). Take it, buying a car isn't quick, so it does take time to haggle and get the paperwork done, but overall it was a great experience. I would recommend Lone Star Chevrolet to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. more

Don't want to sell a car 11/28/2011

I would give them no stars if I could. We recently tried to buy a used vehicle that was set to go to auction soon. We didn't get the car. We waited around all evening till almost closing. You could tell right off the bat that they didn't want our (almost brand new) trade in and that they were trying to pull a fast one on us. If a dealership really wants to sell a car, they're going to do everything they can to sell it. But this place must have been wanting the car to go to auction. While we were sitting with the associate about to sign papers, they had another customer outside chomping at the bit to buy the vehicle. I could tell that our salesman did not want to sell the car and it was funny that all this time no one was there to buy the vehicle and at the last minute, there was someone. When we declined the percentage rate and realized the terms were bad, they signaled to the other sales guy to go ahead and sell the car right in front of us. That was very unprofessional and hurtful. It was as if they were planning on us not buying it and had a backup plan. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They have a pretty dealership and very clean, but if you want to get your feelings hurt and walk out crying like we were.. Then go ahead and go to them . more

I had an excellent experience with Lone Star. Particularly Karl, the sales man I was lucky enough to get. He was excellent! I am not a fan of sales people and expected the typical pushy person trying to get me to buy. It was not this way at Lone Star Chevrolet. Karl has excellent effectiveness not being too pushy and being aggressive only to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. His aggressiveness was for my benefit instead of the Dealership's! I highly recommend Lone Star Chevrolet to anyone looking to buy new or used car. You at least need to go see Karl and you will see how great he is! more

Integrity Lacking - avoid this dealership 3/11/2011

I inquired with this dealership about the availability of the new Chevy Volt. They responded they had a VOLT with the following facts: 1) ""it has already been ordered"" 2) ""it goes to production this week"" 3) ""expected delivery is mid-March"". I ordered the car, only to find out 1) it had not been ordered, 2) it did not go to production that week - a month later it still had not gone to production and 3) expected delivery changed to ""unknown"". As agreed before signing the deal, since the timing changed dramatically I requested my deposit back - they refused. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. Strongly recommend avoiding this dealership - they have no integrity. more
