Lisa has been doing my hair for about 8 years now. I have moved to a few different cities in that 8 years and have had stylists from Denver, Las Vegas, New York, L.A., and San Diego. I have been coloring my hair for many, many years and because of this am a self-proclaimed expert on a great color job. When I went to see Lisa for the first time I had been looking around for a new salon for quite sometime. I emailed her, and she got back to me so quickly...I was shocked! She gave me different days and times that she had open, and I chose what was best for me. Making an appointment was so simple! When I met Lisa, I instantly felt a sense of relief because she was so kind and had so many fresh and exciting ideas of things I could do with my hair. I was ready for a change...and she gave that to me. I was so impressed with the color job, that I couldn't belive it. The highlights looked amazing! I loved my entire experience with Lisa Turley. Even making my appointment was easy and fun. I text messeged her to schedule my appointment and within five minutes she responded. I was able to get in to see her within a week and when you are as desperate as I was that is a very good thing. When I arrived at the appointment she came and got me within about ten minutes which is pretty good for hairdressers. I felt like she listened to my vision and didn't question it at all. I feel like she is the first hairdresser whose idea of what is pretty is the same as mine. I felt like when I explained the haircut in mind she just ""got it"" right away. She made me feel at ease. The first time I saw the color I knew that she'd gotten it right. But... when she cut it and started blowdrying I knew that she had ""nailed"" it. I think I even made a loud excited sound when she turned my chair around. All I saw was this amazing head of hair. It was sooooo full and bouncy and completely beautiful. Have to be honest if my hair doesnt look right, it doesnt matter what I am wearing...I dont feel right either! I \r flew to New York and had a ""pro"" that cut Britney Spears hair and a number of other stars cut and color my hair\r it was a ""birthday present"" from my husband....was it great, yes but what I paid and what the final result was pales in comparison to what Lisa did for me. When I met Lisa a few years ago, I was recovering from breast cancer, chemotherapy, divorcing my cheating dog of a husband, the death of my father, the death of my dog, yada, yada, yada. You name it and it happened to me the year I met her. At the time, my hair was growing back, but because it is naturally curly, I felt like Pat from Saturday Night Live. Lisa asked me what I wanted to do. I hated the way I felt and the way I looked and I knew a serious change was in order. I've been getting my hair cut by Lisa for over a year now. The first time I saw her, I asked her to cut off ALL my long hair into a short cut. I had seen her work before and knew she was good. I just didn't know she was that good! I got the best short hair cut of my life, and every where I went I was constantly complimented on my cute cut. I loved that cut, and now that I wear my hair long I still love, love, love the style she gives me. Lisa always listens to what I want, and I completely trust her with my hair. Here is my story: after going to the same hair stylist for 8 years, I have had the hardest time finding a replacement that I can trust. I have went to several different shops around- both east and west valley -only to be dissatisfied each and every time. The last place I went to before Sachi's turned out to be a total disaster. My hair was in danger! I came to find Lisa, on citysearch, and was quite wary at first about trying yet another new place. Immediately upon her warm introduction to me, I felt comfortable. I explained my situation, what I wanted done, and expected to be told there was no way I could get what I wanted. Instead, Lisa was very informational and thorough when explaining what would need to happen to acheive the results I wanted. She is very precise and extremely knowledgeable about hair- a refreshing and very welcome surprise. Not only is she an expert at her job, but she is funny, charismatic, and very stylish. The treatment I received as well as my final result were absolutely fabulous. My flat dark chocolate brown hair with ""green gold"" highlights had been transformed to a nicely layered brown cut with rich and golden blonde highlights- exactly what I wanted. I live in Sedona (2 hours from Scottsdale) and have been frustrated with hair professionals here. They never seem to get my color right. I found Lisa Turley on Citysearch and decided to give her a try from all the excellent reviews I read. I was familiar with Sachi Salon, so I knew that she would have some great credentials. Lisa greeted me with such enthusiasm, I new I was in the right place. She really listened to my hair drama and ""got"" what I was looking for. Both she and her assistant Mandy treated me very professionally and we had a good time. It was fun, relaxing and most importantly, I love my hair! She totally revamped my color and gave me a little more edgy cut which on both levels is exactly what I needed. I have already booked my next appointment. But I just couldnt get stylists in the valley to cut my hair into the vision of what I wanted. I have always had light blond hair, but it has been getting darker as I have gotten older. I never wanted to color or highlight it because I was afraid that it was going to ruin my natural hair. I was recommended to Lisa by my mother, and when I was visiting Scottsdale during the summer, I made an appointment with her. She gave me the best haircut that I have ever had. She also decided on the best color highlights for my hair. Lisa did a combination of a dark blond and light blond partial highlights. It lightened up my hair so much without making it look like the fake bleach blond. I have never gotten so many compliments on the way my hair looked, and all of my friends were dying to know who did my hair. The only problem is...I live in Michigan! I would fly out to Scottsdale just to get my hair done by Lisa. She is amazing at what she does, and I highly recommend her! :) more

When I moved to the Phoenix area at the end of 2001, I had very short hair. I just happen to work with a gal who had short hair as well and I loved her hair. When I asked my co-worker who cut her hair, she gave me Lisa's name. From that day forward, my life changed. I have been a faithful client of Lisa's since early 2002. Lisa has amazing talent and tremendous patience. She really knows how to listen to your needs. Once Lisa has comprehended what it is you want, she infuses your wants and needs with her vision. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've been complemented on my hair. I could be going on six weeks without a visit to Lisa, but becasue her technique for cutting and coloring hair is so phenominal, my ""do"" still looks good. Now that my hair has grown out and is much longer, I can honestly say Lisa can take you through the growing out process and make you look good at every stage. Whether it's the cut, the color, or both, Lisa works her magic. I naturally have very dark brown hair and Lisa always manages to transform and provide me with the most flattering and trend setting styles. I love going to see Lisa.! It's been almost 2 years since Lisa gave me my first haircut. Since then, she's been doing my color, too, and my hair has grown back longer than before and healthier than ever! It looks and feels thicker and softer, plus the color is gorgeous. Having had thin, dry hair all my life, I sometimes cannot believe it's actually my hair. Lisa said my hair has improved because it was over-processed when I started seeing her, but also because I took her advice regarding styling products and techniques. The right hair dryer and brush have made a big difference, but her styling tips were equally helpful. My hair has been in Lisa's sole care for the past two and a half years. And I can honestly say that is the longest any hairstylist has had my loyalty. In the past, I would jump from salon to salon trying to find someone to manage my fine thin hair and tame my wild cowlicks. I was beginning to settle on having a mediocre salon experience until I found Lisa. She dazzels me with her abilities and gives me hair that I can be proud of by taking into consideration the shape of my face, my complextion, facial structure, and symmetry I always leave feeling gorgeous, re-energized, amazinly refreshed.\r Lisa and I joke about my ""hair vocabulary"" because at times I can be very inarticulate when trying to express what I want to achieve, but she listens to my cares and concerns, asks the right questions, and transforms my hair above and beyond my expectations every time. \r I have been to salons from the east coast to the west coast and can tell you Lisa's coloring is second to none. After reading the reviews on this website I decided to give Lisa Turley a try. After the WORST experience of my life I am convinced that she wrote the reviews herself because she was terrible! I went in for a partial foil and cut to brighten my blond. After a quick, shabbily done foil that a brand new cosmetology student could of done, my roots turned brassy. She then tried to put a toner on it but chose the wrong toner and turned my hair BROWN! Her response was, ""wow, in the 15 years that I have been doing this, this is never happened."" She then blamed the manufacturer for ""mislabeling"" the toner bottle. Are you kidding me! She then had to refoil my hair but was not able to get it back to blond. She then tried more excuses saying that it ""recovered better than she thought. ""She then had to put a deep conditioning treatment on it to help with the MASSIVE DAMAGE! She acted like she was doing me a favor by not charging me for her major mess up. I sat there for over 5 hours in absolute misery! She did not put a towel around my neck, so the bleach, dripped down my neck and all over my shirt and left covered in hair because she does not use a cape. It is one day later and my hair is falling out in handfuls. I will have to spend the holidays and a trip to Europe looking terrible! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT GO TO LISA TURLEY IF YOU VALUE YOUR HAIR! more

First met Lisa while she was shopping at Nordstroms. After a breif introduction, conversation led to hair styles and associated importance for those working in sales. For several months, I struggled to find the hair style to match the working condiitions in retail. Lisa suggested that I schedule an appointment and let provide her an opportunity to cut and style my hair. It has been two years since our first meeting and I am still going back to Lisa.
