Do NOT go to this Les Schwab. Ever. The manager is a idiot who I just caught lying to me about my tires. \r \r I recently had a flat and needed a new tire put on. They did this about 2 months ago. Since they put it on my car had a bad vibration at freeway speed. I decided to go back and have them balance the tire again as I could tell it was not balanced right. (This location had a problem balancing the original wheels before as well)\r Any way\r Trip 1. I need to balance the new tire as I am getting vibrations. I told the girl at the counter he whole story as she stared at me with a glazed look in her eyes. After waiting 4 EVER for my car to be brought in, They finally do and before I can stop them they have the front wheels off the car. I tell they there doing the wrong wheels, but the tech says well these tires have cracks in between the tread and thats causing your problem. You need 3 new tires. I have been a faithful customer of Les Schwab for over 20 years but my recent experience at this particular Les Schwab has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth to the extent that I will never let them touch anything except the tires on my car. I needed my rear brake replaced and had no second thoughts about were I would have this done, but was told that I also needed to replace my rack-and-pinion steering because it was leaking badly, at an additional cost of $1200. Based on previous experience, I trusted them and told them to do the work. After 20 minutes, I had second thoughts and called back to request to only do the work on the brakes, but they told me that the steering unit had already been disassembled and it would cost $309 in labor to put it back. I could not understand how even 40 minutes of work equates to $309 of labor costs, but now, feeling like whatever I chose would cost me more than what I wanted to spend, I asked for a discount on the work. My wife was having trouble with one of her tires. This Les Schwab sits next to a Jiffy Lube, so my wife decided to have the tire checked and get the oil changed. The service people did their magic, discovered no problems with the tire and put it back on - all for free. Turns out the tires were tires that they service - they came with the car, we didn't buy the tires directly. A few days later, my wife ran over a nail on one of the other tires. Les Schwab patched the tire - for free. We were hooked! We have bought several tires from Les, we get great prices and excellent service. PROS: Great service & price - right next to Jiffy Lube! CONS: They only do tires - but we forgive them! more

This Les Schwab is very good about checking your brakes for free. They are honest too and have told me my brakes are just fine. It's a convenient location right next to Home Depot too. more
