We had prepared to buy a car...checked on prices and ask for bids online for a new Prius...planned to pay cash...the salesman couldn't answer basic questions about the car and when it came time to strike the deal he deferred to a manager who talked down to the buyer "a woman whom happened to be a doctor," we were informed buyers and that appeared to upset the folks...they offered her 5k for a six year old luxury car with 43k miles on it...at which time I suggested we leave...went to the Lexus dealership and had a completely different experience...bought a car and they gave almost 3x as much for the trade in as Landers offered...we won't ever shop there again! more

2010 Camry NEW Purchase with additional service free 5/29/2012

I purchased a NEW 2010 Camry in 2009 with two free service oil changes. The first service I found cigarett butts, plural, on the drivers side floor when I entered the car at the exit of the service department, upon further inspection, I found oil spilled on engine, small but enough to cause oil smell. Salesman who sold car to me would not look into any resolution, so service manager told me I may have left cigarett residue in auto, I do not smoke nor have I ever smoked and I am single, so NO one has been in my car even with a glass of water! One wheel rim has a small scratch from a curb not very noticable but I know it is there, so when I see my wheel's have been rotated and the wheel with the scratch is still in the same place it was when I arrived, hhhmmmm, mabe they removed the tires from the rims and rotated the tires and put the rims back where they were when I arrived, do you think? HA! I was charged for wheel rotation though! There were a couple of recalls and when I had the work done, there was a greasy hand print on the door support drivers side between whindshield and door. They said I must have put it there when I checked the oil. Salesman who sold me the car no longer works there and maintenance mistakes are my fault, so when I tried to talk to the owner of the dealership, he just wanted to sell me a NEW car and ignored any complaint I had, he would make a good politician. I have moved my business to another Toyota dealership and am very happy! Toyota has served me well, however dealerships can be changed. more

I was shopping online for a used vehicle and decide to try Landers Toyota. I had read so many reviews and heard Landers Commercial’s and was inspired to check them out. The finance/sales person contacted me and informed me that he would start working on my deal right away. He found two cars but I wasn’t interested in buying them. After, I expressed that I wasn’t interested he stated that he would work to find me something else. I called the finance/sales person several times for three consecutive days and he lied continuously. He stated that he would call me back and never did. I later found out that he was giving me the run-around because he wouldn’t be making much of a commission from the vehicle I was interested in. I can’t say that Landers Toyota is a bad place to shop based on my negative experience with Steve Carson. When shopping for vehicles try to find a sales person who is truly there to help you find a vehicle and is not soely concern with how much he will be making off of your purchase. more

My experience at Landers Toyota last Friday was wonderful!!!! I was hit by a lady that ran her stop sign about 5 months ago and have been without a car that whole time. When i finally saved up money for my down payment i went to Landers Toyota and told them this is what i have to put down and this is what i can afford and they made me an awesome deal with payments that i can afford on a beautiful RAV4. I'm so happy with the service i got. You have no idea what its like to go so long with out a car! This truly was a blessing for me! They are amazing people and they really care about their customers!!! more
