I had an appointment at your boutique on Sunday September 30th and had the pleasure of being assisted by Katie. Not only did I feel like she was listening to my every word, but she really made me and my guests feel welcome and engaged, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better bridal experience. I just want to say thank you to Katie and the staff at Ladies & Gents Bridal for helping me find such a gorgeous gown and for making my day so completely perfect. Katie, YOU ROCK!! I found my dream dress at Ladies and Gents Bridal! The staff is awesome. They made me feel comfortable while selecting a dress. The atmosphere is great-very intimate. I didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed at all. I even walked in once without an appointment and was able to try my dress on so my bridesmaids could see it. I highly recommend this location for any bride looking for not only a perfect dress, but the right ladies to help you with it from beginning to end! more

I was looking for a dress with sleeves for my wedding, which is impossibly hard to find. After visiting a few bridal gown stores, I figured that I wouldn't be able to find what I wanted. I ended up at Ladies and Gents, and though I still only found strapless dresses, they made me feel confident that sleeves could be added to any of their dresses by their seamstresses (who were also great). The consultant was so sweet and made me feel really special. I would suggest that all Bakersfield brides pay Ladies and Gents a visit! more

Ladies and Gents has a wonderful selection and tons of gorgeous dresses! Most of the staff was nice but a few were rude and after I bought my dress there were issues but overall the experience was ok and my dress was beautiful. more

You have such an amazing personality and I feel like I have known you for years. Even though I am moving down to San Diego I would like to keep in contact. We had a great time 9/9/2010

I just got home from attending a wedding gown fitting for my neice. Maggie assisted us and she was wonderful. We had a total of 9 people partaking in this fitting and four of us were taking photos. She had NO problem with it. We all laughed and joked and had a terrific time. Maggie had a great sense of humor and joined right in with all of us. Very friendly and personable. I highly recommend people go there. No stress, no worries, nothing but a good time was had by all. Our whole group really appreciated it more

Staff was great knowledgeable and helpful. I loved the dresses to choose from found my dream dress on the same day I went in. They were really helpful I got everything in one place my fiance tux, bridesmaids and even shoes!!! more

I had a wonderful experience at Ladies & Gents Bridal. I made a last minute decision to marry in Vegas and had 1 week to plan. I visited quite a few different bridal stores just in Bakersfield. I ended up staying with L&G's because I found a beautiful reasonably priced gown and was told it could be fitted and ready before I left for Vegas. I did have to come twice for fitting (forgot my shoes once) but the dress was altered and ready to go as promised. I think the pricing is a little high for the alterations but it fit perfect. The young lady who helped me was very courteous and I never felt ignored. Nor did I feel that any of the assistants were unprofessional. I was very pleased with the customer service and would recommend them to anyone (if shopping in Bakersfield). more
