Best

Ok, seriously, how could a Krispy Kreme experience go bad. Unless you somehow manage to miss your mouth or accidentally hurl it across the room because of all the excitement.

Worst

I was very disappointed by my first encounters with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I was not impressed. I have to think thatpeople are buying into the myth, not buying the product. I h...

Best in the World! 7/23/2002

I withstood the lines and the cold to take my turn at the KK counter. It was worth the wait. They even gave out free donuts to those in line. more

heavenly, but don't eat 3 ! 7/23/2002

The first one is heavenly, the second one is good, by the end of the third one, you are regretting having had any............ You had better like sugar if you eat these! Pros: traffic management, speed, taste Cons: calories, calories, calories more

more hype than taste or value 7/23/2002

if it wasn't for Rosey and Jerry, this would be just another doughnut house that never made it big more

NECTAR OF THE GODS!! 7/23/2002

KRISPY KREME IS SIMPLY THE WORLDS BEST!! NO DUH!! I SHOULD KNOW, I HAVE EATEN DOUGHNUTS ALL MY LIFE. Pros: TASTE, TASTE, TASTE Cons: FATTENING more

The Yummiest Donuts ever!!! 7/23/2002

I've had donuts from the one here in Issaquah and the one in Vegas. The raised glazed are definitely the best glazed donuts you'll ever eat, but their other varieties are delicious as well. My favorite is the glazed old fashioned cake donut. After we discovered they had a Krispy Kreme in the Venetian Hotel in Vegas, we went there every day to get one! Definitely worth the trip to Issaquah or wherever you have to go to get one! Pros: Delicious, Fast, No-frills more

a fad 7/23/2002

This is a over hyped fad. I didn't like them when I was a kid growing up 50 years ago!! more

Just a donut 7/22/2002

O.K., I AM JUST A LITTLE CONFUSED ABOUT THE WHOLE KRISPY KREME KRAP, IT'S JUST A DONUT PEOPLE, NOT LIKE WE DISCOVERED SOME CURE FOR A DREADFUL DISEASE OR SOMETHING, THE WHOLE HYPE ON THIS IS JUST SHALLOW AND A WASTE OF TIME. MOVE ON........HOW MUCH CAN YOU SAY ABOUT A DONUT. Pros: SATISFIES SWEET TOOTH Cons: EXPENSIVE, FATTY, OVER RATED more

LOVE THOSE KRISPYS 7/22/2002

When one has asweet tooth, there's nothing that can match the taste of a krispy kreme doughnut. They are to die for! Pros: price, parking, good doughnuts Cons: fattening more

Stick to yo ribs 7/22/2002

Best place to hang out and people watch on Ponce de Leon...being from Atlanta I thought that I had gotten away from the southern hospitality called Krispy Kreme....not even Seattle was far enough. Perhaps Japan. Maybe not, in 6 months it'll be there too... Pros: Stock is up, Expanding, Stock is up Cons: Greasy, Heavy, Diabetic coma more

3 7/21/2002

Significantly overpriced. The hot, fresh donuts from Costco are substantial at half the price. Not worth the money, ansd certainly not worth the wait during peak ""cult"" times (evenings, weekends). Cons: Overpriced, pure sugar & fat more

Ick 7/19/2002

Trendy but disgusting. The hype is that it is some cool, awesome doughnuts. really, it's just sugar and butter heated up with some flour. more

Krispy Dreme 7/18/2002

If you're willing to ignore the nutritional info, these are the best things ever! Hot off the belt, they cruise through a waterfall of icing and melt in your mouth. They give you one for free when you walk in the door! The hot glazed are the best, but they offer such an assortment of other doughnuts no other doughnut can compete. Bring a dozen to work, everyone will love you. more

These Aren't Doughnuts... 7/18/2002

These are lumps of lard from a stream of oil. I will admit their glazed, when fresh, are pretty good. Everything else is a poor example of a pastry. They coat everything in a thick layer of sugar hoping that will make it taste good. It doesn't. Give me a real bakery any day. I choose Safeway over Krispy Kreme. C'mon folks step back from the hype, ignore the current fad and make up your own mind. Pros: Free Sample Cons: Taste Awful more

Obnoxious Hype but a great donut 7/18/2002

The circus around this donut shop and how mad people went when KK opened was obnoxious. However, after the madness died down my husband and I had to at least give them a try. A donut is usually a donut but I must say a KK origninal hot off the press is pretty darn good. Good enough to stand in line for 3 hours- not a chance but worth a stop once in a while. more

Yummy Tummy 7/18/2002

The best donuts ever! Well worth the drive. A hot donut with a latte from Starbucks next door makes for a terrific breakfast. Even day old donuts perk up with a 10 sec microwave. more

WHATEVER 7/18/2002

A Donut is a donut, Krispy Kreme is no exception. They aren't what they were hyped to be, someone out there needs new taste buds. Pros: lots of sugar, somewhere in Issaquah Cons: SATURATED FAT, taste like any other more

Krispy Kreme Junkie 7/17/2002

I thought doughnuts were doughnuts no matter where you buy them from. Was I wrong! They always give away samples fresh from the frier. No matter how stuffed I am, I just can't help but inhale them!!! Pros: inexpensive, tasty, fresh Cons: crowded, fattening, fattening more

corporate doughnuts 7/17/2002

it's a corporate sized doughnut. pay a lot for not a lot. i grew up with a local doughnut shop and it beats the pants off of krispy kremes any day of the week. more

pretty yummy 7/8/2002

It seems like the other ratings are either really good or really bad. I think they're in between so that's why I give them an overall seven. They are pretty good though. I must admit if they sold these in grocery stores that I would be really fat by now. I was pretty surprised by how many people thought they were TO Die FOR. I mean, they're just doughnuts. Pros: yummy, ooey gooey, wonderful service Cons: long drive more
