Best

Ok, seriously, how could a Krispy Kreme experience go bad. Unless you somehow manage to miss your mouth or accidentally hurl it across the room because of all the excitement.

Worst

I was very disappointed by my first encounters with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I was not impressed. I have to think thatpeople are buying into the myth, not buying the product. I h...

The Best 11/11/2002

Krispy Kremes are the bestest Donuts that i have ever had!! Pros: good, yummy, scrupmtious Cons: too far from home more

has no flavor 11/9/2002

these donuts do not have the rich flavor that dunkin donuts has and the coffee at dunkin donuts is a lot better too Cons: bad servise, low quality, smelly donuts more

My Heroes Have Arrived at Last! 11/7/2002

Krispy Kreme made me the success I am today. Thirty-something years ago I was in college and I had a strong proclivity for procrastination, cramming for finals and doing 30 page term-papers the night before... What saved me on those long, cold, dreary nights, what fueled my brain cells so I could retain the rhetoric and write a paper I really knew little about, were my little round, glazed friends who were always there, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, fresh, hot, waiting, comforting, inspiring... Hmpff! That anyone would even THINK of rating these under a ""10"" (or that there isn't an ""eleven!"" is simply appalling!!) The Pacific Northwest should be on its collective knees in humble gratitude for the mere opportunity to wait in line for these delicate, delicious pastries! Ahhh, my Heroes have returned. (Makes me wonder how one would look riding a White Stallion...) Pros: Ask the cops. Cons: Are you kidding? more

sugar coma no sub for taste 11/7/2002

If you also voted for the Spaghetti Factory, skip to other, more positive reviews of this extra-average donut joint. Very sugary (can be good), bland (never good if you are going to sacrifice all of those calories and fat grams) and dull texture--certainly not the worst donut in town, but nowhere near the loveliness of a Top Pot creation. Just a typical corporate snack, no surpises. more

Fresh off the line 11/7/2002

My Mother came to visit and wanted to know about the legendary doughnuts. So we went and stood in line, which moved very fast and takes you by the production line. We both enjoyed watching the automated process. When we got past the window, we were handed a glazed original, for free, right off the line. It lived up to our expectations and was the best donut I have ever had. They are worth it if they are hot and fresh. They are a bit sweet when cold, but still good. Pros: Perfect, Tasty, Fresh Cons: Issaquah, Only 1 location more

pure hype 11/7/2002

just like republicans - all hype, no substance, mostly hot air more

sugar shock! 11/7/2002

I tried a krispy kreme doughnut the other day and it made me want to throw up. It was way too sweet! Nasty! more

No Way!! 11/5/2002

Hot doughnuts from Costco are twice as big, the taste lasts twice as long, and they are half as expensive!! A cold Krispy Kreme is just another doughnut, but a lot smaller! more

Hot bread's better 11/5/2002

The hot doughnuts are the BEST. The cold ones were just too sweet for our family or our neighbors. I think I'd really rather have hot bread out of the oven. Pros: Friendly, Service-oriented, Good Prices Cons: Product too sweet!! more

Great original glazed, below avg others 10/31/2002

The original glazed and others based on that doughnut are delicious. Other types are below average: crullers are below average, filled donuts are average. The decor in the store is also fantastic, as is the service, now that it is no longer overcrowded. Pros: great original glazed, great atmosphere Cons: average other donuts more

Coated Offal 10/30/2002

Pour enough sugar on offal, and it would be edible. Put an end to this diabetic fried dough! Pros: None, None, None Cons: Sugar, Sugar, Sugar more

not worth it 10/28/2002

I can't believe people were waiting in line for these things... they are the same as any other doughnut, and personally they are way too sweet. Not to mention you have to drive into Issaquah to get em. Unless you really have the urge to battle hellacious traffic and yuppies with attitudes, aviod this place like the plague!!! Safeway makes better. Cons: too sweet, location, location more

You've gotta be kidding me! 10/15/2002

I've tried these little morsels. From the get-go I couldn't figure out what the deal was. I have tasted a lot of doughnuts in my time, and these are some of the worst I've tried. more

Krispy Kreams are the worst! 10/15/2002

Krispy Kreams are the worst! When vendors bring them into the office they end up sitting around and gathering fruit flys! KK's are too greasy and too heavy! I'd rather eat a Dunkin Donut or Safeways and those aren't nothing to write home about either....The best ones I've found are Costco's but theirs are limited on selection. Cons: greasy, heavy, over rated more

Hot and Glazed, or GO ELSEWHERE 9/28/2002

at the donut shop, served hot, just out of the oven, Krispe Kreme glazed donuts are best-of-breed. For ANY OTHER donut variety or if you have to eat them cold (as in being brought to your office), GO ESLEWHERE FOR DONUTS! the rest is just great marketing and herd mentality. yikes, has anyone ever tried these cold? or tried any of their other donuts? Except for the plain glazed when they are hot, they aren't even CLOSE to the quality or taste of other national donut chains. (lets remember that this is one of those) Like an over-hyped movie that people say is good either because everyone else does and they'd feel dumb saying what they really feel, or because they are young and haven't seen anything better (kind of like the movie ""Signs!""), Krispe Kreme is almost all show, no ""go."" Pros: best glazed hot in US Cons: overhyped, not the best cold more

Stellar! 9/23/2002

Krispy Kreme makes the freshest, most delectable doughnuts in the United States. When the little light comes on, everyone comes running. Really, does it get much better than this? more

""Just Okay"" 9/13/2002

I'd say KK is a bit overrated. When compared to Countryside Donuts in downtown Bothell, there is simply no comparison. My favorite donut, however, is at the Cle Elum Bakery in Cle Elum. KK is okay but passe... more

It's a donut...get over it! 9/1/2002

There's nothing special about these donuts, unless you like lots of sugar (because that's what you're going to get). If you're getting KK, don't waste your time on anything else but a FRESH and WARM glazed donut. Anything else is a glazed donut plus topping (e.g. more sugar). Go to Chuck's in Renton for a great donut. more

Sugary Sweet 8/29/2002

Unique doughnuts that are good, but a bit too sweet for my taste. Krispy Kremes are over-rated. Unless you are a doughnut freak, it is not worth the trip to Issaquah to get them. Pros: good value Cons: over-rated more

I can feel my teeth rotting 8/27/2002

Warm doughnuts are good, long lines are not. I do enjoy Krispy Kreme Doughnuts now and again, really they strike me as overly sugary and gooey. Once in a while but the untimate doughnut they are not. Pros: sugary Cons: sugary, long lines more
