Best

Ok, seriously, how could a Krispy Kreme experience go bad. Unless you somehow manage to miss your mouth or accidentally hurl it across the room because of all the excitement.

Worst

I was very disappointed by my first encounters with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I was not impressed. I have to think thatpeople are buying into the myth, not buying the product. I h...

What the... 8/26/2002

...what's this line all about? A doughnut?! Oh, let me try one...mmm...can I try another? Uh, I didn't quit get the feeling for that, maybe a dozen more so I can be sure! YUM Pros: Best doughnut ever, Best doughnut ever, Not that far away Cons: Best doughnut ever, so far away, Best doughnut ever more

It's called Devil's Food for a reason! 8/20/2002

The chocolate devils food cake donut is the best! The process is cool... in South Carolina they are as common as Starbucks is in Seattle, but if you are headed to Issaquah to get a donut, plan a trip... it could take a while. Midnight snack anyone.. they're open all night! Pros: sugar, sugar, line entertainment Cons: line, calories more

Kreamy Dreamy 8/13/2002

I love this product and the best win I had in Las Vegas was they sold Krispy Kremes at the hotel! Pros: best tasting, best smelling, friendly staff Cons: too far from Seattle, need a store in west, traffic fiasco more

50 8/13/2002

Krispy Kreme have the best doughnuts around. I first tasted them in Virginia. I can't get enough of there famous doughnuts. more

Glob of Mediocrity 8/13/2002

The reality is that almost ANY doghnut is good when it's just been made. Is Krispy Kreme better than Winchells? Yes. Is it as good as all of the brainwashed lemmings want you to believe? Of course not. Even fans of the Krispy Kreme usually admit that the traditional glazed is the only thing special about Krispy Kreme (all others varieties are completely unremarkable). Also, you'd better get to them quickly, because they start to melt into a greasy glob within 30 minutes. Krispy Kreme's are tasty, to be sure, but so is a Hershy's chocolate bar or a slice of cheesecake. However, I wouldn't wade through a sea of easily duped, trend-following yuppies to get them, either. Cons: Overhyped, Overcrowded more

lousy 8/13/2002

the doughnuts are tooooooo sweeetttt. very oily. I like the QFC donut way better. Cons: too sweet, sugar overload more

Great doughnuts 8/13/2002

I got turned on to KK during a visit to Cleveland a few years ago. If you've had them right off the line then you know how good they are. If you haven't, do yourself a favor and make the trip to Issaquah. You won't regret it. Pros: Taste, Nice ambience, Free samples! Cons: Sometimes crowded more

Melt In Your Mouth 8/13/2002

I've waited 20 years to have Krispy Kreme in our area. If you want to restore them to their 'out of the oven' perfection... just microwave 20 seconds and prepare yourself for a mouth watering experience. Cons: Slow service, crowded more

BEST DONUT 7/31/2002

This is the best donut I've ever tried in my life. I will tell you when there is a better Pros: FREE Donut more

The worlds best 7/30/2002

They are the best. I grew up in VA and thought everybody knew about them. They are ok cold but when they are hot, nothing can beat them. more

toot sweet 7/29/2002

To sweet, small, just another doughnut. When I frist tried them I couldn't find what all the hype was all about, yes melt in your mouth but dough tast like dough. No different. So what, any doughnut fresh out of the fryer tast like that but not as sweet. Pros: free donut, drive tru window Cons: tooo sweet more

Oh my gosh..... 7/23/2002

These are the best doughnuts ever. It is too bad that is has taken so many years for them to reach the Northwest, but thank goodness they finally did. We certainly need more. The original glazed melt in your mouth and are almost better than........... Pros: Delicious, Fabulous more

better than yours 7/23/2002

I have had them fresh out of the oven, I've had them fresh off the boat, but lb. for lb. they can't beat Larry and Kristi's in Bremerton. In fact I've had better from Safeway. ( at times ) and cheaper. Pros: fun idea Cons: expensive, crowded more

krispy cremes or soggy O's 7/23/2002

In my opinion, I think that krispy creme doughnuts are the best! All others are to cakey and they don't reheat well. Pros: the texture Cons: they are to small more

Oh Please! 7/23/2002

Just another fad. It's getting ridiculous to see everyone selling them on corners for some sort of charity. Had to try it out though to see what all the hype was about. I, personally like Winchells better! Pros: Fresh Cons: Too overated, Too sweet more

best in the world 7/23/2002

i think that krispy kreme doughnuts are the best doughnuts that have ever been made in seattle in all time i don't care if you dissagree they are still the best to me Pros: inexpensive, good parking, great service Cons: crowded more

You just don't get it 7/23/2002

Krispy Kreme is a donut staple in many parts of the USA. For those who don't like the drive or the wait - you just don't get it. For many, a hot Krispy Kreme is the equivalent of a steaming bowl of Ivar's clam chowder. But I've met plenty of Seattle natives (first time Krispy Kremers) who are addicted as well! more

Why all the hype?? 7/23/2002

As far as I am concerned I can't believe anyone would stand in line for for these sickningly sweet doughnuts. There are loads of other places in The area than serve products of equal or better quality. Pros: fresh product Cons: overcrowded, over sweet, lacks varity more

Pricey but worth it 7/23/2002

KK Doughnuts are the lightest, sweetest out there. I have tasted so many different varieties (from different companies) and these are by far better than the rest! They run a bit more for a doz. but are well worth it. You don't go there to be served with a smile. It's more like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld. Get in, place the order, pay and get out! Or ELSE! This is a production line, and say your prayers if you hold it up! You don't eat them in either, you eat them on the run. It is really in it's own class. Pros: fresh, light, sweet Cons: whiner customers more

Blueberry Heaven 7/23/2002

The blueberry cake donuts are the only thing worth going for. As for the ding-a-lings who drive miles and miles for a fresh glazed, raised donut, I think they can do just as well, if not better at the nearby Costco which does raised donuts for about half the price and they are very fresh. I actaully like Costco's better. You can also get your grocery list out of the way at the same time. Now that makes more sense than standing in line at krispy kreme and fighting the insane traffice around the shopping center that it's located in, unless of course, you have to have a blueberry cake donut........ Pros: fresh, tasty, clean Cons: crowded, too much traffice, expensive more
