Kowalski's is not for everybody. Their food does cost more, but you also get what you pay for in most cases. Nice selection of meats, seafood, fresh fruits and veggies and a lot...

Kowalski's is not for everybody. Their food does cost more, but you also get what you pay for in most cases. Nice selection of meats, seafood, fresh fruits and veggies and a lot fresher than local regular grocery stores (for example, Strawberries at a local Rainbow were molded and not just 1 days growth). If you have a sweet tooth and on a diet, stay away. They have some of the best bakery items anywhere. I LOVE the buttercream icing on the cakes and sticky buns!!! Can also find some more hard to find ethnic or regional items. more
