Kauffman Tire Smyrna

So simple flat tire fix they did in 7 hours from the point of dropping off (talk about a long wait) .. then I get in my car notice the seat is up, i use the automatic switch to o back it wont budge.... itll go forward but not to the back position... something happen in the shop instead of THE TIRE GUY trying to fix it before the customer saw it, they left it, didnt mention it one bit. I go in tell them they come out wiggle the seat look in the tracks cant figure it out with in 20 minutes they are back in side... So me and a buddy spent a hour in the parking lot taking apart my seat to fix something that happen THERE. \r I go inside.. he hands me a card and says take it to a mechanic and call me if the mechanic finds anything ...\r so i go back out and figure it out because 1) WHY SHOULD I PAY TO GET IT TOWED BECAUSE IT CANT BE DROVE BY A 3FT MIDGET WHEN IM 6'2! \r 2) WHY IS A CUSTOMER USING HIS TIME, AND MONEY TO FIX SOMETHING THAT HAPPEN IN YOUR SHOP\r 3) WHY DID YOUR TIRE GUY EVER GET OU more

I don't normally write alot of reviews but felt compelled after reading so many negative reviews from Kauffman Tire Smyrna. I have been going there for the last year and have had nothing but top notch mechanical and customer service!! One of the things I like best about Kauffman is that they call you withing 4 or 5 hours of dropping your vehicle off letting you know it is ready. Oftentimes in the past with other places, I end up calling AFTER the time the vehicle was promised and the service manager has to "go check" to get the status of my vehicle which is either sitting there ready to go (no notification from them) or still being worked on, which are equally frustrating. I have not had that experience with Kauffman since I have been going there and would highly recommend them. more

If I could give this location at the intersection of South Cobb and the E/W Connector zero stars, I would. I drive a Corolla with a light beige fabric interior. I took my car for an oil change and tire rotation at Kauffman because I didn't have time to take it to my normal mechanic. When I dropped my car off, the interior was spotless except for a few pieces of debris on the floor of the drivers side and some fuzzies off my shirts on the back of the seat. Let me also say that I am the person who has floor mats on top of my factory floor mats, and a waterproof fabric liner covering the back seats of my car. \r \r I saw the porter bring my car around 1 hour later, and remove the plastic lining from the driver's side seat (phew!). I paid, walked out to my car happy that I was finally going home. Oh no. The driver's seat and door, the upholstered arm rest, and the passenger's seat had black hand prints and smudges everywhere. I had terrible service at the South Cobb Kauffman. I went to have my tires rotated and balanced, I was watching from the Atlanta Bread Co across the parking lot, they didn't even inflate my tires to the proper pressure before balancing. I had three bad experiences with three different cars, these guys are not Safe, and I will never go back.These guys jeopardized mine and my children's safety!!! more

This place ripped me off also. I took my car in for a tire rotation and found out that they weren't rotating the tires. The tires were then wearing out faster than usual. When I confronted the Manager he got upset and very rude. I've had good experiences with Kauffman in the past but be very careful when going to the one on South Cobb Dr. in Smyrna Georgia. more

This place ripped me off big time. Got 4 tires and an alignment from there and from day one the tires had problems. It shook on the highway right after I got it back with the new tires and when I took it back the sales guy told me that because the tires are not the right speed rating. I put lower speed rating on my car because I do not drive past 80mph and speed rating does affect performance then again I am not racing anyone so for a daily commute a tire is a tire. Do not let anyone tell you different. This Kauffman tire adjusted the toe angle of the car so it would eat up the tires faster and for someone that does not know about cars they would get away with it. Always get a second oppinion and stay away from this place. This place is the same as Jiffy Lube so beware. Pros: Absolutely none...free coffee? Cons: they lie about the repairs that you need more
