Karma Salon - Hair Styling and Hair Coloring

My wife and I have both gone to Karma for a few years now, and we love Lynn and the whole Karma staff. They do it all. We nearly always see Lynn, but the few times we've needed to see another stylist--Erin, Beth, Renee--Lynn has left us in excellent hands, and the support staff, assistants, and apprentices like Brittany and Mallory are the best. If it's morning, they rush you coffee; if Lynn detects a cough or a sniff, it's green tea; if it's a Friday afternoon after a long week, maybe a special Karma-tini. I've watched them with lots of other clients, and the Karma folks act as if every client is the most important person whom they've ever had in the place--and they always seem to be having a lot of fun doing it, too. more

Karma Salon is head and shoulders above all of the other salons that I have been to in the Athens area. Lynn and her staff make you feel very comfortable and could not be more friendly and polite. Karma's staff goes to great lengths to give you the exact kind of haircut that you asked for, and make sure that you will never leave dissapointed. Karma salon may, in fact, be the BEST place to in the Athens area. I've been to several of Athens' ""premier"" salons, and none have delivered the quality of service and care that Karma gives. Lynn Meyer is fabulous at her job, and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The building itself is full of light and good energy. I am very picky with who I trust my hair to. Back home, I have only gone to the same woman for 15 years because of bad jobs and a lot of crying sessions. But I have found my equivalent here in GA! The color has never been wrong. I went from coloring my hair platinum blond (Karma did a great job with my blond hair!) to brunette, and I've never been happier. I've never been disappointed when I go there, and feel great when I walk out of the salon. And the spray tans are unbelievable. Not like the orange you would get at a tanning salon, but looks like you just got back from the beach (the great thing is, your spray tan color is custom too, so you go however dark or light you want!). I went to another unnamed, big name salon in Athens before I went to Karma, and was very disappointed. I refuse to go anywhere else but Karma. They're top notch! Pros: Ambience, employees more

I've been going to Karma Salon for over 4 years now and I refuse to go anywhere else! The employees are top-notch, very professional, and friendly. They give you star quality service every time. Erin Calle is a goddess with color and she really listens to what you want while offering her professional opinion. Brittany gives the best spray tans in Georgia! Lynn does a fantastic job with hair coloring. What she does looks so natural. My hair feels soft and shiney, not dry and brittle. And it is fun to go to the salon, have a cup of tea and relax with a scalp massage...as an added bonus. So for my opinion, Karma is the best salon in North Georgia, and maybe the whole country. Thanks Lynn for being the best!\r \r Well, I went to a State Board meeting yesterday and one of the ladies said, ""Who does your hair? It so beautiful and the cut is the best. Great natural spray tan that doesn't turn you orange and it lasts for a week. My skin is very pale and Brittney did a fantastic job making me look like I had already been to the beach.
