I've been a parient of Dr. Steven Kafko for approximately 25 years. An old friend sent me to Kafko and Kaminsky when I was in desperate shape with an absess, etc. They knew I was a "scardy-cat" the minute I walked in. I've since become a major believer in the importance of good dental care. Having moved away within the past year, I have been reluctant to find a new dentist and I knew I needed to see Lena their specialist in cleaning and gum care. While in town recently, I was able to take advantage of a cancellation. However, what I was not prepared for was a root canal!!
Steve Kafko and Jack Kaminsky have expanded their practice over the years to include exceptionally well trained, experienced specialists including a Dr. Steven Lipner who performed the root canal. He knew I was anxious and he could not have been nicer. He explained everything he was going to do, did everything possible to assure me that this would go well and it did. I felt absolutely NO pain; had absolutely no discomfort after the procedure. He insisted that I call him with any concerns, etc. The only call I made following the procedure was to thank him and Dr. Kafko - their concern for their patients and the outcome are of utmost importance to them. I told them I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Bottom line - don't be afraid - call their office, make an appointment and stick with what they advise you to do.
They are very thoughtful, caring professionals. And, they keep up with the newest practices and procedures; the offices are comfortable; the staff/receptionists are helpful and reassuring; their prices are fair; they take most insurance. If they can't handle your situation, they will refer you to someone equally as caring to handle your case.
