Great Thai take-out/delivery 2/16/2009

This place is great... I order regularly. Food is high quality. Staff is courteous. Delivery is prompt (I haven't sat at the restaurant, but it looks just fine too). Prices are reasonable. Pros: Quality food, good value, friendly staff more

I've found the best Thai in Los Angeles. 7/30/2008

....And I've tried A LOT of Thai food. Joom, the guy that opened this restaurant, used to run the thai restaurant in Pasadena (I can't remember the name right now) that got the highest Zagat rating ever for Thai food in Southern California. We are lucky that he chose to open Joom one block from our house. It is hands down the best and most flavorful Thai food I've ever had. Honestly, all of my former favorite Thai spots taste bland and watered down now that I'm used to Joom. I recommend the yellow curry, tom yum gai or ka soups. They have a decent selection of wines too. more

Try the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp!!! 6/2/2008

The food was fantastic. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. I also had Tofu Red Curry and that was excellent as well. Pros: delicious food, reasonable prices, parking was available when I went (but the lot is small, so might not work when it's busy) Cons: It's in a strip mall, but the interior is nice so it's no big deal more

Good local thai place 1/21/2008

Really good food, delivery is quick, super nice staff. Only had an issue with a delivery once (they were too busy to deliver, needed to pick up, they forgot an item), but generally very smooth. Pros: quick, tasty, cheap Cons: gets busy and delivery can be delayed more
