The folks at John Pierce have been great to work with. Our son is a student at Wright State and having an auto repair shop that you can trust when you are over 500 miles away is a great feeling. I highly recommend them to locals and people like us who need a trustworthy car repair shop when we are miles away. more

?John Pierce (JP) Automotive Is The Worst Car Mechanic Around? Is something you will NOT HEAR ME SAY. I have been taking my vehicles to them for two years now and I have NEVER been disappointed. They are always true to their word, priced better than any auto repair shop I have ever been to and they won?t Bull-$!!t you around?like that Geoff Smidth place down the street. I had them (JP) replace my serpentine belt two months ago and after juggling work/home/work/and more work, I was finally able to get my truck in to have it tightened. They totally warrantied the work even though I technically should have had it back to them within a week of original installation. I WILL NOT TAKE MY CAR ANYWHERE ELSE and I suggest you stop thinking of why you should keep you current rip off auto mechanic and start going to John Pierce?you won?t be sorry. Besides, the more people he helps, the better you feel and the better you will make John feel?and isn?t it all about making others happy. So make John Happy. I am not from here originally and so its hard to find an honest, customer friendly place that wont take you to the bank. I needed a new fuel pump for my vehicle and did my research and got quite a few quotes. I read all the great reviews about this place and called for a quote...not only were they cheaper by a couple hundred dollars but they got my car done in one day even though they had to get the part from Indiana. I will NEVER take my car anywhere else. If you are reading this then you will not be disapointed I promise! more

I have taken my cars to John Pierce Auto Care for 30+ years, and recommend them to anyone who ever needs repair. The honesty and integrity is worth a million, and they charge less than other local repair shops! I know I can trust these guys always to fix what I need fixed, recommend what to do in the future, and they have never ever tried to get us to do more than necessary. This is invaluable in car repair. If you want a pretty car shop - go pay for one. If you want excellent, reputable car repairmen, go to John Pierce Auto Care. Everytime I need something done with my car, I head straight to John Pierce. They have always been super nice and taken care of me quickly. I can trust them. They are straight forward and give great advice. I don't know much about cars, but they have always steered me in the right direction. I would never go anywhere else. I am new to the area. I went to one of those chain tire stores and got a very long and expensive list of repairs my vehicle 'needed'. I took the car to John Pierce Auto Care to get a second opinion. They took the list I was given and prioritized it. They were honest with me and told me what repairs were actually needed. Then advised me on the maintenance items and other items that might have shown some wear, but still had life left in them. They are very convenient for me since they are close to Wright Patt Airforce Base. I know I'll be using John Pierce Auto Care for all of my car and truck repair and maintenance needs. more

I've personaly have used John Pierce Auto Center for 10+ years now for all my cars. They do great work and are always honest. They constantly send their techs to training so that they are always up to date on all the new crap these car manufacturer are doing. Everytime I go somewhere else just to save a quick buck, my car always ends up going back to Pierce's because they know what they are doing and I have come to find out you get what you pay for. They have always done me right and I would highly recommend them to anyone. So if you got a car at a repair place and they can't figure out whats wrong, send it to John Pierce, they can fix anything!! Pros: best drivability solving shop around more

When we moved to this area 9 years ago. We searched for several different services we would need while we live here. After going with the ""Chain Auto Repair Places"" we ""at a neighbors recommendation"" found John Pierce Auto. We are extremely happy with the Work and took the time for the first year to ""Shop their Prices"". They were never the high but eithier the lowest or equal to the lowest. We would highly recommend them for your Professional Auto Repair Needs...... Pros: Honest, Reliable, Reasonably Price and Professional Cons: Can't think of one more

I have taken my car to John Pierce Auto Care on many occasions. Every time, I have been treated very well. They are very professional. They don't make promises that they can't keep. I have shopped around town in terms of prices for certain repairs and John Pierce always has lower estimates then the competition. I will be a customer for life and continue to recommend them to everyone that I know! Pros: Very reasonable prices Cons: none! more

When my Jeep stopped running on nearby I-675, they quickly found the problem. They made a ""worst case"" estimate. Upon completion of the work, the Jeep performed better than it has in years AND the cost was not as high as estimated. These folks do not promise something that cannot be delivered. They are swamped with business and I had to wait two days for the work to be performed, however, they told me that in advance. I WILL BE BACK!!! Pros: Well informed service personel! Cons: You may have to wait because they are very busy. more

This place is a total rip off. They quoted me a price of parts that was double what it would cost to purchase yourself. They also quoted me labor rates that were way to high. I would be careful when using this shop. They have alot of cars there and lots of technicians which probably do good work, but their management is not friendly at all. I would not recommend using this shop. more

Thanks again to Steve!!! I have used his repair shop for 8 years from the usual things like brakes, tune ups,alignments and the like to complete engine replacement. I have never been ""left in the dark"" on any repair or suggested repair. He will explain and show you what is wrong and why it needs repair in a way that someone knowledgeable or a novice can understand. The work here is always ready when promised and complete consideration is given to your vehicle. I used to do all my own work on my Corvette but do not have the time any longer and this shop gets my work before the dealer. Mostly because I have never had a ""come Back"" and I trust everyone in the shop and the work is as well or better than I used to do. Everyone is certified and his equipment as good or newer than the dealer and his prices are not only fair but really are unbeatable in town. If you don't have time for return visits to get things just right then this is where you should be going. I have often just stopped in to discuss a problem and he or the staff can take the time to talk to you before you make any appointment. I never have had a long wait for an appointment and again the work is completed on time an always done to my satisfaction. Trust and knowledge is hard to find in auto repair these days and I don't have time for trial and error going any where but here. more
