Good food with an über menu (seriously, there is hundreds of things to choose from. The downside is that it's a bit pricey and our waiter was quite surly. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 8/24/2009

I have been a server for 7 years so when I go out to a restaurant I know what to expect and what should be offered as service. This place was the worst experience I have ever had. The waiter was rude even though he completely messed up our order ( and the food we did get horrible). The manager was even worst. Instead of listening to our complaints and doing something about it, she completely blew us off. This was a year ago. Although I doubt it's gotten any better. Do not reccomend this place at all. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 8/15/2009

I have ate at Jerry's time after time in LA and Orange County and have always loved the food. However while on my trip here in Miami I have ate her twice with both times being terrible. I would love to tell you to go there, but the South Beach one is no good. more

Over whelming menu ,good food great big portions (meat balls) nice staff but a little bit over priced 20 $ for a pastrami sandwich !! more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 7/8/2009

Its a little expensive, better than places like Dennys but double the price. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 7/2/2009

Very expensive fir the quality of the food and the service, suggestion MUST order the strawberry cheesecake the best I had ever tried!!!!!! more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 6/30/2009

Very nice looking place and the waitress was very nice since she had a baby our babies age. We had breakfast and for $9 the pancakes were subpar at best and didnt come with anything. I ate one and my son at one and the other 2 got wasted. Just boring food for me. My wife did however like the crepes but not more than an IHOP. more

Generous portions and extensive menu, but food quality was poor and underwhelming across the board. more

Poor service... Food not cooked well 2/13/2009

I actually lost my appetite when the server brought my food out on one of my guests plate and brought me a plate 20 minutes later to seperate the food. No silverware, the bill was not itemized, and my guests French toast and turkey sausages were over cooked more

Average everything... 6/29/2008

The food here was just average. Nothing special. A bit overpriced, too. Some portions are big and some are small, so really take into consideration what your getting. Our service wasn't the better, though. The waiter wasn't very friendly and kind of gave attitude at times. He said sorry for not being so attentive, but blamed it on being busy. However, the place wasn't that busy and there were plenty of other waiters around. Pros: Fun atmopshere, nice decor Cons: Service, price more

Worst places to eat in Miami! 3/29/2008

My wife who is from Miami warned me not to go to Jerry's deli. I explained to her that I love the one in California so we decided to go. We were seated right away but then waited 20 minutes and never found the waiter. Two other tables in our section were holding there hands up looking for the waiter as well. We walked out. Pros: Very large selection Cons: Very long wait for everything more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 12/24/2007

I met up with some new people that I met while visiting Miami and the 5 of us decided to go here to get a sandwich, just the basics.. like a Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, etc.. and each had one drink. The food was ok, but when we got the bill... it was something. I never seen 5 cold sandwiches, and 5 drinks cost about $150 bucks...\r \r I would never go here again, it's way over priced just for a basic bread, meat, cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato sandwich. more

Best place to feel humilated!!! 5/22/2007

April 27 I decided to go to Jerrys and take my wife for her birthday. After waiting for almost ten mins for someone to sit us down, my wife and I decided to sit ourselves and after waiting for ten mins the hostess who I think was of haitian decent very arrogantly told us that station was closed off and moved us somewhere else. By that time I was ready to leave but because it was my wifes birthday we decided to stay. All ready from the time we walked in there till when a waiter came to us a half hour had just passed. I ordered a pastrami ruben that took over 45 mins and when I recieved it it was somewhat cold. My wife ordered a turkey ruben that was so dried she couldnt even eat it. The whole time we were there we notice a loud heavy set man acting strange , loud and rude. Several minutes later we over heard the waiter tell a table that he was the General Manager and that he had been high all day on coke ""not the kind you drink"". We did notice he was pouring something into a paper cup at the bar. What was so surprising to us was that 30 mins later we had witnessed the coked up manager fire part of his wait staffed for no reason. My wife and I thought it was so rude and embarassing having to witness this incident that I will never go back there or recommend this place to no one. Food was awful , prices were very expensive and the ambiance was very hostile. This is the first time I have ever seen this in a restaruant before. A very unprofesional place. Never again. Pros: I could find any Cons: Bad food, Ambient, Service, very hostile enviroment more

Great Breakfast FAST! Large selection! 10/18/2006

Jerry's offeres a full menu 24 hours daily. It's a great place to go for breakfast as there is something for everyone! I have found the service fast and generally courteous and the facilities are large and clean. I've never had to wait. The homemade corned beef hash is the real thing - not out of a can - best I've ever had! Coffee is hot, excellent and your cup is always full. Scrambled eggs with hard salami pancake style is also great! Don't forget to try their pastries. Seating is inside or out. Valet parking is available, but there is generally on street parking available. This is a place locals hang out - tourists too, but it's not a tourist trap. Pros: Huge breakfast selection 24 hours/day. Excellent food, pastries, location Cons: Parking can be difficult on weekends, but they offer valet service. Prices are a bit higher than most breakfast places, portions are large. more

BEST BURGUERS & SALADS IN MIAMI! 9/8/2006

this place is fantastic! :) Pros: big dishes, good value and good service more

Good Diner Food Goes A Long Way 6/8/2006

If you're not in the mood for the outdoor cafes or Lincoln Foad, or the fancy restaurants in South Beach try Jerry's Deli. Suspiciously a New York import due to the food offerings......... Jerry's has a mammouth menu that offers everything under the sun. The fried chicken salad with honey mustard sauce was finger-licking good! more

Overpriced bad service. 3/9/2006

Jerry's menu sure is sizeable and lookds delectable. The plentiful booths are very comfy and the ambiance is fun and relaxed. It's also great that it's open 24/7, especially for party animals. However, this deli is extremely overpriced for the mediocre food that is served. In addition, service is lukewarm at best. I didn't try the desert coz I went for brunch but the cake/pie/cookie selection looks tantalizing. I totally agree that this place would have gone out of business if it wasn't for tourists! Pros: Comfortable ambiance, Large selection Cons: Way, way overpriced, Bad service more

See Above 4/16/2005

Just read the other reviews. I should have. Correct, the seating is very comfortable. That's the best that you can say about Jerry's. Too bad, because the location and hours are great. They should thank God for tourists, otherwise they'd be closed by now. Locals would never return. The inept waiters are another disaster. Pros: Comfortable Seats Cons: Horrible service, $$$$overpriced more

perhaps infamous? 12/17/2004

We are locals, only a few blocks from here, so we used to go alot, until we realized that every time we went, there was always something wrong. either the food was horrible, they were missing ingredients, they gave us the wrong order, or they just gave bad service in general. This restaurant has a great menu, it's a shame that it's service cant match up with it's prices, and that they have failed to become a reliable local hangout, with consistently good food and service. Pros: hours, selection, sandwiches Cons: , service, most food more

Totally Sorry 4/8/2004

after being seated for a hour the food was brought to my table. the Cordon blue chicken breast was burnt and hard I injuried the roof of my mouth biting it, the potatoes were cold and the veggies were under cook. the monte cristo sandwhich was extremly burnt and cold. my friend could barely eat it the waiter could not speak english so we could not tell him we was not happy. DONT GO WHAT EVER YOU DO.... Pros: cushion seats Cons: , bad service, high price more
