Thai Chili, Honey Pistachio, Cherry Lambec...pick any flavor you haven't imagined, put it in a homemade cone or make a ridiculously decadent sundae out of it, and fly to Valhalla....

Defies description. Just when I think one flavor is my favorite, she comes up with another one! I currently can't decide between Passionfruit and Lemon/Blueberry. So maybe I'll just go with her Salty Caramel, or one of her many decadent chocolates. Mmmmm! There simply isn't anything around to compare with Jeni's. WOW! I'm Impressed 10/29/2004

Jeni's ice cream in the North market is by far, the best ice cream around. The flavors are very different, not what you'd think of putting in ice cream, but they taste excellent. Exquisite! Of course it's fun to walk around the north market while eating a scoop... I'm also fond of Mardi Gras ice cream for the same reason - exotic flavors, rich and creamy taste. Jeni's ice cream in the North market is by far, the best ice cream around. The flavors are very different, not what you'd think of putting in ice cream, but they taste excellent. Exquisite! This is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Jeni's unique flavor combinations and rich texture make my mouth water just thinking about them. Make sure to try my favorites: banana caramel cashew, strawberry buttermilk, salted caramel and raspberry mascarpone. more

Unique Flavors 6/12/2004

Jeni's doesn't offer your typical chocolate and vanilla ice cream flavors. Rather, the flavors are unusual and ecclectic, such as salty caramel and lavender raspberry, which is my personal favorite! Jeni's is located inside the North Market, so as you're eating your uniquely-favored treat, you'll get an eyefull of what the other vendors have to offer. Getting more ice cream for the price would be nice (2 smaller scoops for about $4.00), but you don't find delectable flavors like these very often, so I still highly recommend Jeni's! Pros: casual, redeemable parking, great atmosphere more
