As a satisfied customer of Jeff's Automotive for over 25 years, I recommend them to everyone....my cars have never gone to anyone else for repair. I always know what the repair will cost before and appreciate having the repairs needed explained to me. Jeff and Chris always make certain I have a way home and to pick my car up after repairs. Many times I have stopped by with a concern and they have stopped to check it out and fix it if needed....like a nail in my tire...even though they were busy. And then, refused to charge me for their time. If you are looking for honest and great mechanics, they are the guys to call. more

WOW what a bunch of slackers! Had a flat in front of this place on the way to an appiontment and inquired if they could help. The three workers looked up from chewing on thier pizza crust and said not now but maybe later. Not even a hello or go to ..... Citysearch rocks. Jeffs sucks more

Typical ripoff mechanics 12/27/2011

Came in over $500 over their estimate without as much as a phone call. Broke something during the repair and wanted to charge me to fix it. So much for trying to support a local business. more

Great deal, and good work. 12/30/2010

Just picked up our van. The price was a lot lower than previous charges for similar work done, and it was done faster. They had a very good opportunity to over charge us (previous mechanics with the same opportunity didn't hesitate to do so) and they didn't gouge us. A great place to do business. Expect to park just around the corner. more

Great work - good guys 1/7/2010

Jeff's was great! I hate that my car slid into a curb on an icy road but Russ and Jeff were wonderful to work with. They were diligent to control the cost of the replacement parts for my 2007 VW Rabbit and did seamless work. They stayed open after hours to meet me and had the snow wiped off, with the heat on. The entire experience was timely and they were excellent about communicating the details and process with me - I was very comfortable with Jeff's and highly recommend them. Honest folks. 6/9/2009

I brought my SUV in with a light on and a buzzing sound. They qouted me a price and then realized that they needed to do more work to get it fixed....but never charged me any extra since they already had said what it would cost. WOW! Im actually calling them again today to fix the wobble in my steering wheel. I have had the wobble for a year now..and was afraid of getting ripped off by the mechanic I usually use. He charged someone i know $300 to put a battery in... Jeffs Automotive was nothing like that. Nice people..and honest. more

Great Customer Service 6/7/2009

When a troubling, persistent sound could not be replicated in the intial inspection, Russ took the time to drive around the neighborhood in order to diagnose and immediately resolve the issue. I appreciate his taking the time to put my mind at ease. more

Most competent, reliable and honest shop that I've come across 3/12/2009

Jeff's Automotive is a great place to take your car if you want competent, honest work done. As a female with limited auto knowledge, I trust my car to them. I just didn't get that feeling when I shopped around other top Denver mechanic shops. From the older collectibles to the classic cars that they are always working on, Jeff's is a place that gives off that old school vibe. Unlike other places, if Jeff's recommends a course of action, or that something be done, they aren't trying to upsell you, they truly want you to take the steps that they would take if it was their car. Great Service 1/28/2009

After taking my car back to the dealer several times trying to figure out the same problem (*eye roll*) , I decided to try a new mechanic. I don't know much about cars, but I found Jeff's shop here on CitySearch and gave them a try. They diagnosed the issue, ordered the part, performed the installation, and had me back on the road within in a couple hours. The car problem that'd plagued me for well over a year now instantly went away! Great service and very affordable. I'll definitely be going back here if I have any other car issues. more

Really Great Place 12/22/2008

I've been in Denver about a year and a half now and never searched out a mechanic while here. My 2001 Honda had a ton of miles on it and was in need of a new timing belt, struts and wheel bearing. A friend of mine recommended Mancinelli's to me because he was taking his car there the same week for a new timing belt. I took it in for an estimate and they quoted $970 for a new timing belt! Are you serious?! I only need one of them! Pros: Nice guys, know their stuff Cons: 4 month warranty more

All I can say is this place is wonderful. Very honest and reasonably priced. I was very impressed with the level of service and communication I received from the employees. My car died and they were able to get it in the same day. I will definitely be back with all my other service needs. I even received a follow up call from them to make sure everything was working right. more

Honest Mechanics & Quality Work 9/4/2008

I recently moved to Denver and have asked all my friends if they had a mechanic they recommended. Not a one could provide me an answer of someone they recommended highly. I did a Google search and and found them listed on City Search. Upon reading the reviews, I decided to give them a try. All I can say is they are fantastic! more

I can't speak highly enough about the service and quality work! Time and time again they have gone above and beyond to make sure we are taken care of. Plus, as a woman it can be hard to find a mechanic who recognizes that I might be able to find (possibly even replace) an alternator. They are kind and patient with my questions and in their explanations of what is wrong. It's great to be able to learn about your car from the experts! My family has used Jeff's for 10+ and will continue to do so for as long as we are in the area. Pros: Great service, convenient location, well priced more

Top notch mechanic... 5/30/2008

I did some research for mechanics in the area. He was the least expensive and delivered my truck on time before a long weekend. He also followed up to make sure everything was good to go... Top notch. Pros: Top notch mechanic Cons: He might be busy sometimes. more

Damn what a find!!! 10/29/2007

Jeff is rated the #3 auto mechanic in Denver, well I give him 5 stars for being personable, understanding and for not ripping me off. He told me he would look at my car and called by noon. I asked if it was going to be under $500 and he said it should be. Total price to look at the problem and install a good alternator was $409. Damn great price and done before 5PM. Small shop, full of old items that made me think of my best friends old shop. Jeff is my new mechanic, although he may not know it yet!! Go and see him, you will not regret it!! Pros: Easy to get to, no muss-no fuss more
