Best Hairstylist Ever and Fantastic Salon! 7/31/2009

I have been going to Megan K. forever for cuts, highlights, lowlights, waxing, etc. She is excellent with color, quick and can cut your hair to frame your face perfectly. She truly is the best in the biz. And she does extensions too! The salon atmosphere is fun and relaxed and the staff all seem to love being there and working together. A great experience! Fantastic Salon 7/14/2009

I have been going to this salon ever since Joey Nytes plugged in his curling iron there. The place is fantastic, easy to get to, personable staff and Joey is an excellent stylist and all around great person to know. Joey cuts by intuition, so even if you can't articulate exactly what you want, he'll find your style and you'll be delighted with the results. I have been going to Amanda Fritz for 7 years and love her! She is an amazing stylist with a great personality. She is so creative and always helps me out of my hair ruts! I would recommended her to any and everyone! more

Exceptional Experience!! 1/26/2009

I've lived in the Twin Cities for many years, but I've never stayed loyal to one salon, I'm not crazy, just a little picky. I heard about this salon from a friend and I can honestly say, I won't be going anywhere else again. From the helpful receptionist (who guided me to a great parking lot right behind the salon), to the friendly hair stylists, there isn't a better place to get a great color and cut. Not only did they set me on the right track to find the perfect color, but they gave me helpful explanations on how to treat my hair right with products and to minimize split ends. Please please go here to reach your hair's full potential, this affordable, cute and upbeat salon will change your hair's life!! I LOVE MY HAIR!! 1/8/2009

I absolutely love this salon! I have been going there for many years and have had a great experience each time. It is very affordable and I have never received so many compliments in my life! I feel that it is very IMPORTANT TO ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU HAIR ! Pros: Parking, Shopping,Great Products, and very friendly staff! Cons: Not open sundays more

Great hair at the James Loren Salon! 12/3/2008

I have been getting my hair done with Lisa Biondo for 20+ years and can say that she is an absolutely outstanding hairdresser for many reasons. Firstly, she has natural talent and hairdressing is a genuine fit for her. She is creative in her cutting and is really spot on with her color. Secondly, she is an extremely kind and good person to go spend an hour with every few weeks. She is a dear friend to me and I look forward to my 1.5 hours with her each month. I feel like a new girl when I walk out of the salon and give her full credit for that. Thirdly, she works in a great environment at the James Loren Salon,where the staff is educated and supported and is friendly to all who walks through their doors. Not only do JIm and Laura (owners) take time to chat with you, but all the stylists say hello as well. I would recommend Lisa to everyone and have to many people over the years. Many of my family and friends have their hair done by Lisa and love her as much as I do! more

Small Town Service with Big City Style 11/17/2008

I always look forward to getting my hair cut/colored from Amanda. Her experience combined with her attention to detail means that I always leave the salon feeling in style and refreshed. The bonus is that she is really funny and also a great listener so the time flies by. Pros: Great Location more

Phenomenal Salon!! 11/2/2008

I started getting my haircut with Jim back in 1981, and I can honestly say that I have never wanted anyone else to touch my hair!! If there is one thing that means the most to me it's the way I look! Over the years both Laura and Jim have cut and hilighted my hair and I couldn't ask for 2 more professional and fun people to be with. Not only are they my stylists, but friends as well. When you enter the salon, you are met with a smile and complete professionalism. I love it and would never go anywhere else. After 27 years, I think I can say I'm an expert on this review. I've seen the transition of their salon over the years and one thing has remained....and that is a 5 star salon that you will not be disappointed with! I would always recommend Jim, Laura and any of their experienced hair experts. They are FABULOUS!!! Pros: Ambience, easy parking, convenient to many shops in the 50th & France Area. more
