Great selection of classes but they're pricier than many offered through area hospitals. Their store however stocks a good selection of nursing bras and basic nursing wear, though when I visited they did not have any medium sizes in any of the styles I wanted, and their Brookline store has only one small changing room melded with the employees break area. They also carry trendy diaper bags and high quality toys. A surprisingly excellent selection of books on pregnancy and mothering- the best I've seen in the Boston area. A Needham location is opening soon. more

There is a free breastfeeding support drop-in at Isis every Thursday that is wonderful. The woman who runs it is very no-nonsense and engaging. It's a wonderful place for support and free information. more

Isis Maternity is a great place for expecting parents and new parents alike. The staff is extremly knowledgable (most are childcare specialists, nurses, or lactation consultants) and they offer a wide variety of classes from Infant CPR to Yoga to New Mom's groups and everything in-between. The store also carries items that are well chosen and of very high-quality. more

This is a wonderful facility for new mothers! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the classes are very informative. I met a large network of new mothers who are now my close friends. The lactation consultation services were excellent as is the selection of merchandise in the store. I highly recommend Isis to all new parents. It's a great place for information, reassurance and making friends! more

Every class you could want to take, from breastfeeding basics to childbirth and CPR. Even my husband enjoyed the classes, and it certainly helped us feel more prepared. more

A god-send for new moms! In addition to their wonderful classes and groups for socializing bith moms and babies, this place has everything you need if you are planning to breastfeed. Members get 10% off, which can save a lot of momeny over time...also a great place to buy wooden toys and teethers for your tot. more

I can't say enough about the wonderful staff at Isis...they are friendly, helpful, and a wonderful resource for breast-feeding moms. Members get 10% off, which is a lot if you are planning on purchasing a $300.00 pump. more
