A great place--a clean, safe environment with knowledgeable staff! The Isis Maternity "Great Beginnings" class was a lifesaver--I looked forward to bringing my newborn daughter there every week. more

It's nice to have a store like this in the heart of Brookline. No need to schlep on the T downtown with the stroller in tow. It is a small store, not a lot of stock so call ahead. But a very friendly and helpful staff willing to order anything not already in the store. Great maternity basics and some very cute baby things as well. more

The drop-in breastfeeding group (usually on Thursday)is superb. You learn so much from the other mothers with babies ranging from a few days old to 1 year. Amy the lactation consultant is friendly, funny, caring and extremely knowledgeable. You can also buy many breastfeeding products such as nice nursing bras in the shop. If you have trouble breastfeeding it is comforting to know you are not alone, this group provides much needed support. more

For exercise classes, Isis is a pain. They keep cancelling classes at short notice due to lack of people signing up. And they don't schedule their prenatal exercise classes at times that are possible for working pregnant women. more
