Iron House

I stopped in to schedule a pellet stove tune up and get the stainless chimney pipe cleaned. Welby had me scheduled in amatter of minutes, was three weeks out. She called 3 days later and had had a cancelation, offered to do my stove the next day and I said do it.\r \r They came to the house, spread out their covering over the carpet, immediately went at the stove and the chimney pipe.\r I left them there alone. The 2 guys had installed the stove 2 years prior. When I got home, they had completely dismantled the stove, cleaned it, cleaned the pipe, painted any of the parts that had been fire stained (interior) and I had some chipping of paint on the exterior. THE STOVE WAS IMMACULATE, POLISHED, PAINTED, BUFFED AND IT LITERALLY LOOKED AND RAN LIKE NEW.\r \r In this day and age to find someone that provides a level of service far beyond one's expectation is a vanishing ""art"" and Welby and her crew did just that. use these people they are great. more

These folks could not have been more helpful. We are currently building a new home on the Cape and we have picked out a gas stove which they have offered to hold for us at the sale price until we need it. \r \r All of our questions have been answered and the suggestions they have made have been invaluable in helping us pick out the proper stove.\r \r more

I have purchased 3 stoves from the Iron House and have been pleased with each one. FIrst I bought a coal stove then traded that for a pellet. The third is a pellet insert. LOVE the pellet stoves. The only problem I had (burnt out motor) was addressed swiftly and fairly. Great people to work with! Very friendly and knowledgable. more

First off, when you are at the store they act like your best friend and you feel like all will be good with the stove problem you have. Well, that where the customer service ends. I told them my problem, they said this will fix it. $180 later and still doesnt work and ""oh...you own that part now sorry "" . Then they said""you need this part and some extra vent pipe "" $280 later and still doest work and I'm out another $280 . Now they want to charge me $400 to cut a new hole in my house and run my existing pipe to SEE if that MIGHT work . WHAT !!?? These people are a joke.If you have a complex problem STAY AWAY from these folks. They milked me with a smile for over $400 and wanted another $400 with the knowledge that the other $400 fix is most likely is not the problem . Scammers !! more
