Wonderful Customer Care 5/9/2011

I can not say more strongly how the people at Independent Volvo took care of me. My husband is deployed and with two small children, car repair is a stressful idea for me. Not the case w/Indep. Volvo! They bent over backwards to do everything they could to ease my stress and make the process convenient. They tried to take my car to the people who I have a contract with for an alignment to save me $$ and when those people couldn't have my car ready for me until Monday (a whole weekend w/no car yikes) Indpendent Volvo did the alignment for me on the house. They also drove my car essentially to my house for me. Needless to say I will never take my car anywhere else! This kind of customer care is amazing and on top of it all the cost for the work (even w/out the gratis alignment) was significantly less than I'd pay the dealership. If you want a caring mechanic who goes beyond the call of duty this is your shop! Thanks Indep Volvo! more

Unexpected Surprise 5/3/2011

I was down and out thinking that I had a repair that would be over $1000. I even asked if it were possible to split the payment so I could make ends meet. Bobby graciously volunteered to temporarily shore up the area of the car that was rattling horrifically to get me by until my appointment. Low and behold, in rooting around he found that it was not even an issue. The shop had the parts (just a few bolts as it turned out) and a quick fix of 15 minutes had me out the door with no charge. A little extra customer service in this case really paid off. I'll not go anywhere else. more

Good job 4/5/2011

Nice service being able to have a ride all the way back to my home in Gleneagle. Everyone is polite and courteous. No more noise from my rear brakes. Now if you could just keep my car going for at least enough time for me to save to get a new one after 200,000 miles on my current Subaru I will be even more pleased. more

Integrity and competence. Our Volvo, Toyota & VW won't be going elsewhere. Our Volvo C70 was in recently with a very difficult to diagnose issue - they got it done and didn't charge us for their learning curve, only the results! more
