\r \r I liked Randy from the very first phone call. I was looking for a remote control unit for a gas stove that we have in our vacation home. I had been on line looking so I had a little bit of knowledge of them. When I called, Randy answered the phone and had just what I was looking for at a killer price. (Better than what I found online) When I got to his store he was personable and knowledgeable. He programmed the remote for me, showed me how to hook it up to the stove and off I went. \r \r When I went to install the unit, the gas valve was positioned in such a way, that to me, it looked impossible to get to it. (I consider myself to be pretty handy but this looked like an impossible task w/out dismantling the stove to get to the valve) I called Randy stating my dilemma and he asked if I wanted him to come install it for me. I said, ""Those are the words I was waiting to hear!"" We were leaving that morning so I gave Randy our address and code to get into the house. We had renters coming in 2 days. Randy came by after hours, made the install that evening. Bottom line is Randy is awesome and trustworthy. He was and is everything you would want in a service provider. I was so appreciative of what he had done for us and in such a timely manner. I paid twice as much for this same unit and installation for our other gas stove from another dealer back in 2008! You can't go wrong, you won't be sorry, Randy Rocks!!\r \r To LL who wrote such a scathing review. You sound like a little titty baby who needs a diaper change and attitude adjustment. Get a life. You are dead wrong about this guy. We should all be so lucky to do business w/ Incline Village Wood Stove Distributors. I will go nowhere else for my stove needs. I found Randy after making a few calls to the local contractors. His shop isn't fancy, but has an excellent selection, great prices, and more importantly impeccable service. more

Excellent customer service and advice. Asked about our broken stove. Was honest about all options. Helped us for free...to see how it needed to be fixed and that it would be better to do something else than what we had planned. excellent customer service and help. will be going back there more

Kudos to Randy.We bought a used pellet stove from him 3 years ago.When it broke down he fixed it at no charge.The next year we decided to buy a new stove.We went to Randy.He gave us full credit for the old stove towards the new one.We had a couple of problems with the new stove.One was a humming sound . I can't remember what the other was but both times I called Randy and he told me how to fix it over the phone.Last night our new stove quit working.I called him this morning and he came to Reno this afternoon and fixed it. If you decided to use this company, be careful. We had a horrible experience with them. They did 2 fireplaces for us. They gave me a price over the phone we had discussed installation. When we got the units delivered it turns out the installer is a sub contractor and his installation was not included in the price. The overall price was then a little higher than our other bid. I made the mistake of not getting the bid in writing. We then had an issue with getting the sub contractor back after the units were installed and sheetrock was done to finish the job. After several calls to the owner, and the sub, I finally gave up and installed all of the trim myself.
