The people at ICM treat you like you're an imbecile, especially if you are under the age of 25. We rented with them for only a few months and they showed the apt. almost daily. Which under normal circumstances wouldn't have been a problem. The problem is that we only once received a phone call from the company. It's inconsiderate to disrespect peoples schedules. 11 AM may not be early to some people, but when you're in the service industry, it can be. They busted in on us in PJs frequently, and then proceeded to yell at us. When I say yell, I mean it. This fool, who, may I add, is maybe 5 years my elder, yelled at me like I was a toddler throwing a tantrum in a grocery store. I merely was waking from a slumber on a Saturday. And yell at us for ridiculous reasons. One of their seemingly many ignorant agents condescendingly questioned boxes in the apt. He wanted them removed and threatened us of his return as an incentive to do so. Wow. They even accused us of living with extra roommates that weren't on the lease because we had an air-mattress. Really? Apparently having friends stay over once in a while is unacceptable. Hmm. \r
Coming from someone that doesn't complain about much, I found ICM properties and their agents to have a lack of civility, respect and professionalism. There are plenty of real estate agencies in Chicago, I recommend not signing with this one.
