Short and easy 12/14/2012

This was my first time going to Hubbard Woods Motors. My check engine light was on, and I had also been in a recent accident. So I took the car in to get an estimate, and then came back to get it fixed. Everything was done quickly, and they finished on the same day. They also give me a free loaner. Everything was easy. more

Very good experience. 11/13/2012

My experience with them has been over a number of years with several different cars. They are always helpful. You can call them from far away; you can be driving across the country and have something funky going on with your car and they can do a mini diagnosis over the phone, and help you find somewhere in their network for you to take your car. That's happened to me and others I know with very good results. more

We've had 2 Volvo's that we've had them work with, and a Subaru that they've worked on too. They're a little bit pricey, but it's right around the same or a little less than the Volvo dealership. They do excellent work, and are really informative with ideas about what's really needed to done or what could wait for a minute, or if it's cosmetic more than mechanical. They're very informative on the whole scope of work they do. They're about 40 miles from our home, but they do that good of service and we trust them enough that we drive out. more

Best auto repair shop I have ever used! 11/5/2012

I look forward to taking my car here for service! They are honest and pragmatic in their recommendations. They call and explain the work needed and its cost before doing the work. Service issues are fixed the first time. Car is always ready when promised. more

Hubbard Woods Motors represents the trusted neighborhood garage of years past. They refelct the integrity of a business model that is rarely found anymore. Given that doing work on cars anymore requires sophisticated diagonstics, high levels of skill, and costly repairs without much recourse, the potential for unscrupulous business practices is abound. I have found Tad and his organization to be open, honest, and balanced in their recommendations, as well as customer focused. As a result, I have a car with nearly 140k miles and still likely a few years of service left. The ability to have a car serviced by Hubbard Woods Motors will be instrumental in my decision as to what vehicle choices I will consider for my next vehicle purchase. I have never had such a positive experience with an automotive repair service. Thanks Tad and Hubbard Woods Motors. Keep up the good work! more

25 years of admirable service. 10/3/2012

They have worked on 6 of our volvos over a 25 year period, supporting our cars for more than 1,400,000 miles. They have set a remarkable standard for friendly. utterly reliable, and committed service to the community. I don't know whom I trust more--Hubbard Woods or my mother. more

Exceptional customer service 10/3/2012

I have a 2006 Mini, which I bought used. I've brought it to a few different mechanics, including a Mini dealership, but the service at HWM has been best experience yet. They will have a repeat customer next time I need service. more

Very high matks all around, service and customer suupport 9/30/2012

Clearly customer oriented, as they adjusted to a schedule change with no problem. Have adapted to include SAAB service and were a welcome change orf treatment and attitude. Worth travelling twicw as far for service. more

Service was great!.. but neglected to reinitialize tire pressure monitor. 9/29/2012

Brought my Mini in for a 15K checkup and was able to make an appointment quickly. The service tech seemed to do a thorough check, made the required changes and called about an additional problem he discovered. He was able to order the needed part that day and did the installation while the car was still in the shop so that I didn't have to make another visit. Also, when I picked up the car, it was beautifully cleaned! My only complaint was that I drove off and went about a half mile when the tire warning light came on. I immediately returned to the shop where the service manager realized the car needed to have the tire system re-initialized because of the tire rotation they performed. No big issue, just thought they should have known to do that as part of the tire rotation that was performed on the car. They did attend to my issue promptly though and I was back on my way in 5-10 minutes. Everyone was very pleasant. more

We've been coming to Hubbard Woods for years. We've had several Volvo's we've taken to them, and even though it is not the closest Volvo repair site to our home it is well worth the trip there to take care of our cars. They are extremely professional and reliable, and easy to communicate with. They speak with us personally and I always have a clear picture of what's going on. We always know we're getting the best service for our cars. more

We like them a lot, they seem to really care about us. We've taken both of our Volvos in and they've always been there for us when we needed them. They have been professional in following up with us, and lent us cars when we needed them. They have even stayed open a few minutes late for us to come pick up a car. more

The entire staff at Hubbard Woods is top notch. The service they provide from the time you schedule an appointment to car loaner service through the pick up of a well serviced car is second to none. In all my years of having two cars repaired there have I ever had to bring a car back for follow up. Every repair is thoroughly discussed and many times various options are provided. Why go anywhere else? more

I brought my car over to Hubbard Woods Motors. They actually called me, since I was running late, to make sure I was still coming. I told them I was on my way, so that was good. In the shop, they were friendly and hassle-free. They got it done that day or night, everything was good, and my daughter picked it up. G. Bowen more

I drive 70 miles to use their great service. 7/6/2012

I was very unhappy with the local service for our car, so I found Hubbard Woods Motors a couple of years ago. Even though they are 70 miles away I take my car to get serviced there. They are great. more
