I have taken my Honda Element in for warranty work, some repair and the usual oil and filter changes. I have always received prompt, courteous and fair treatment. The guys/girls at Howdy Honda are always professional and I appreciate their continuing efforts for total customer satisfaction. more

Best total auto experience 6/25/2011

From the moment we met Brad in the parking lot(he had 6 cars waiting for us to test drive) on the day we purchased our Civic Hybrid to the last time I drove our Honda out of the lot after routine service , my experience at Howdy Honda has been first rate. I have already recommended this dealership to family members and friends. more

Great Job 6/25/2011

As always they did a great job and my car was done in a timely manner. However, I do wish that they stock the waiting room with some snacks. They have drinks coming out of the yin-yang but not a scrap of food anywhere. Without any supporting restaurants close by, some food is a necessity. more

Like the service information, breaking it down between the "must do today" and the "it can wait, but it is out there". Good stuff. I often arrive a few minutes before the scheduled opening time and am always greeted and checked in promptly. more

Another Honda for the family 6/20/2011

I now have three working Honda vehicles with one about to go to the graveyard (1991 Accord). This newest used vehicle is replacing that one. This is a very tight market now for used cars, and good luck findig a new Honda to buy. more

Excellence in all departments. 3/31/2011

Having spent over 20 years working in the retail automotive industry, I know what to look for in a quality automotive dealer. I have never experienced, or heard about, a dealership as outstanding as Howdy Honda. From the receptionist answering the phones, to the sales and sales management, to the finance personell, to the make-ready and service staff, the first order of business is always 'customer service'. Everyone is courteous and professional and the facility is well designed, even for children. As I have told the service manager, Jeff Dahl, there are two other Honda dealerships much closer to my home and I travel the extra miles to go to Howdy Honda. more

A great experience, as usual 3/30/2011

I came in Monday morning to have a light in my AC controls replaced under warranty. Rick greeted me quickly, and after my car was in the repair center, he came out with a list of things to ask me about. I had done several, but needed 2 additional things done. Even adding a brake flush and spark plug replacement, I was still out of there by 10:30. Also, the waiting area is very pleasant. Comfortable chairs, wifi, coffee and other drinks, and even a quiet work area with carrels for people who need to get some work done while their car is worked on. And even if you walk around the show room, there's no hard sell by the sales team to try to get you to buy a new car. Oh, they ask you how old your car is, but they are not pushy. I find that when I have my car in for service, it's generally a very pleasant experience, not one I dread. The terrific service department and overall service experience will certainly be a factor I consider strongly the next time I'm in the market for a car. more

They are very professional, and honest. They provide me with a loan car for free when I need one. They always wash my car for free. I will not take my Honda anywhere else. more

Beyond Amazing 3/26/2011

Howdy Honda, in my opinion, is one of the premier Honda dealerships in the country and their service department is beyond amazing, whatever "beyond amazing" is. I've been there a total of 6 times, and 4 of those times were simply because I'm insanely curious and have lots of questions about my vehicle because I want to keep it in tip-top shape. If the smallest thing is bothering me, I'll go in and ask. And above all, though the questions are small and trivial, I've always been treated with respect. I bought my Honda from David McDavid in Irving, TX, and Howdy Honda has done a much better job at helping me than David McDavid has. So if you're in Austin, then going to Howdy Honda is a must. Of the service advisors there, the two that I highly recommend are Kevin Childers and Eric Contreras (not sure on the last name for Eric). In case you're wondering what the other two times were for, one was for an actual service and another was because I was seeing spots under my car and I was worried about a detrimental fluid leak. more

Consistently friendly, courteous service. 3/26/2011

I bought the car at Howdy and have taken it to Howdy for service whenever the oil needs to be changed, etc. Always have a very positive experience. Usually I can wait for the repair work, drink coffee, eat a donut and read the paper. I feel valued and I trust the employees to deal with service issues honestly. more
