Best

Usually very expensive, but found a deal through Expedia and directly through hotel. Rooms are some of the nicest I have stayed in - LCD TV, sofa, nice bathrooms. Wish I had more ...

Worst

While I don't think this is the worst spa in Dallas, it is far from good. Let me start off by saying this, my facial was great. The woman who did it (I forget her name) did a grea...

Great spa 5/16/2008

The next time I'm in town, I fully expect that my schedule will include a visit to ZaSpa. Great atmosphere and service. Heaven on earth. more

Can be a Fun place ! Great hostesses/Servers 3/10/2008

The first time I dined at Dragonfly it was an exciting place to be on the weekend the beautiful hostesses opened the door for me and greeted me with smiles that made my night. The second time I went to Dragonfly the hostesses were dressed strangely in a black toga looking outfit (not appropriate for the thyme of the restaurant) and it led me to believe it was an Asian restaurant (even though its not) but they were helpful and at least had beautiful faces. The servers were very knowledgeable and made the dining experience wonderful again. It was hard to get a hold of a manager to discuss an event I wanted held at Dragonfly and it became frustrating and I decided against having my party there. Other than that I would recommend small groups dining there for a good time. Just don?t expect to get help from a manager. more

overrated! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! horrible spa. 3/3/2008

this spa is by far and away the worst spa i have been to. they couldn't provide locks for the lockers in the bathroom...they were overbooked, literally not a seat to spare in the tiny waiting room. it was uncomfortable and far from relaxing. there was no care or comfort provided. if you are hungry, prepare to beg them to give you a menu...and don't expect them to come take your order, you'll have to stand around and wait for someone to help you. when the food does come, they will not inform you it has arrived. while i received my facial, i listened to some sort of mix cd complitation that i'm guessing the staff brought it....don't get me wrong, i love john mayer, taylor swift, alicia keys, coldplay, etc.....but i don't want to hear it while i'm supposed to be soothed and relaxed. i'd have to say i didn't enjoy being scalded by water dripping off the steam machine on to my face either. unprofessional. very disappointing. Pros: can't think of one Cons: the list is too long more

Our stay! 2/21/2008

We had the best time here! The spa was the best, the girl at the front was very helpful, and we loved the massage and the pedicure's were great,I love the paraffin and hot towels! It was a little small, but it fit our needs just fine! Me and my girlfriends will return in the future!! Pros: beautiful spa,the rooms are great! Cons: none to mention! more

Great pedicures on girls weekend!!! 2/18/2008

We had a blast! We came on the weekend for a girls night and the massage was great,we had alot of fun doing the pedi's all together the girls were great and we loved the chairs! Very fun place to bring the girls! Pros: fun Cons: too small more

Expect More for a Pedicure 1/14/2008

I took my mother there to have a pedicure for her birthday - the girl that did our pedi was great but the pedicure it self was a little lacking. When you go for a pedicure you expect your cuticles to get trimmed and a good foot scrub. This did not happen at Zaspa, my feet still felt like they need a little more attention. more

Much better than these ""reviews"" would lead you to believe! 12/16/2007

Our party of five had dinner at Dragonfly last night I have to admit that we we worried, after reading some of the not-so-flattering reviews on CitySearch.... Our experience, however, was definitely worthy of five gold stars! We had reservations at 7pm, and the friendly valet pointed us in the right direction. The Hotel ZaZa is a feast for the eyes! Our table was in a room ringed by curtains, which made for a very quiet, intimate, cosy setting. We were served promptly. The food was outstanding! There was a foie gras starter special, which we ordered. I can easily say that we have never had such foie gras before, even at Abacus. The food, the wine, was excellent. All in all, a wonderful experience, and definitely much, much better than the other ""reviews"" would lead you to believe. We eat out at the top Dallas restaurants often (at least one a week), and DragonFly is definitely on our ""return"" list! more

good food, terrible service 9/29/2007

I had reservations on a Saturday night at 9:00 PM for 8 people. We had to wait 30 minutes, which isn't terrible, but still annoying. After we were seated, it took the waiter at least 10 minutes to greet us. We ordered a few bottles of wine, and did not receive our drinks for another 15 minutes. It was even served by the host because our waiter was nowhere to be found. We eventually ordered food, and between each waiting period between the different courses was about 25 minutes. We ordered appetizers and finished them, then our salads took forever. Same with the entrees. RIDICULOUS!!!! We ended up being there over three hours. The food was really great, but not worth the wait. With all the great restaurants in Dallas, I won't be going back here again. Pros: great food Cons: terrible service more

horrible service 11/9/2006

the food was good. however, the service was terrible. our entire meal from cocktails to dessert spanned an entire 45 minutes. my husband and i went there to celebrate our anniversary and expected a dining experience, not fast food. Pros: food Cons: service, noise more

Best service in town, and a beautiful relaxing spa!! 9/2/2006

Sent my daughter a gift certificate and she loved this place. Said everyone was so nice, and the facials were the best!! Very good spa!! Congrats to the staff, and a great manager!! Pros: Great atmosphere, and great manager! Cons: Couldnt find anything negative... more

Most overrated restaurant ever! 6/7/2006

I read your reviews and thought this would be a good restaurant to take my wife on our anniversary...what a horrible experience. The dining room is open to the bar which makes it really loud and not intimate at all. The waiter was rude and not attentive and the food was really overpriced and nothing special. How does this place stay open!! Cons: Highly overrated more

Spa with the girls 3/20/2006

This is an awesome spa! I recently had a girl's weekend and we stayed at the hotel and the spa was so perfect for us, they gave us these great vodka shots, and were at our assistance at all times!! It was perfect! Pros: Staff, Valet parking free, good for small groups more

nice place 3/17/2006

I apparently have had much better experiences than the other reviewers here. On different occasions I've tried the sea bass and the ginger beef. Both were excellent. The appetizer of calamari is also quite nice and served more as a salad than just a jumble of fried squid with a side of sauce. I have experienced the wait staff as polite and knowledgeable. One thing thing I would change would be to get rid of the plasma TV's in the back dining area. It really kills the notion of a romantic dinner out. And yes, this place really expensive. more

Don't eat the food 11/3/2005

This hotel has a lot of hype but the hype couldnt help the menu. The food was pretty terrible. We tried the shrimp corn dogs, Roasted onion and sweet corn chowder, scallops, mushroom soup, and a Hawaiian fish dish. The cocktails were quite tasty but the food was a big thumbs down other than the corn chowder. If I ever returned to this restaurant it would be for cocktails only! more

ZaZa me!!!! 9/18/2005

I love Hotel ZaZa and the Dragonfly. The perfect adult getaway! Anytime I travel to Dallas I make reservations for both, I can't get enough ZaZa! Pros: not to big, beautiful, classy Cons: expensive, sometimes crowded more

Disappointed in Dallas... 9/18/2005

Although the spa, like the hotel is lovely, I was very disappointed in my spa services. The staff was unprofessional, and not terribly friendly. While I received my pedicure, staff members sat nearby and carried on personal conversations on their cell phones. When I asked about ordering a small snack from the restaurant, the staff acted as though it was a great inconvenience to do so. The quality of my services were quite underwhelming, as well. more

Cold soup and HIGH prices! 2/23/2005

The swanky little restaurant Dragon Fly is very good, if you are looking for 50+ eye candy. This is where the plastic comes to party, and where the 20 something year olds come to find a rich daddy, I mean husband. Now for the food The menu was way overpriced, and my soup came out cold. I had to eat it with a fork, after I asked the waiter 2 times to bring me a spoon, which I never received! They also brought my table the wrong bottle of vino. Pros: cool outdoor atmosphe, good people watching Cons: too expensive, bad service, LONG wait more
