We haven't needed a new TV since the 80's, but this past year 2010-2011, we have needed to replace 2. Things have changed a bit out there in TVland, so we dove in for the current facts at various sources. We could have saved ourselves a lot of time if we had just started with Home Video Library, where they have it all. So, we have purchased 2 Sony LCD's in the past year and to say we couldn't have been happier is an understatement. We chose Sony because they are highly rated, but wouldn't you know it, we ended up this past week with a problem with the Sony we had used only for a short time. NO question, it was replaced AND Kenny sent out a tech (Ryan) to help us along for the install, that was over the top for service, and no downtime. We were complimenting the young man on his skills, and he replies, ""I do what I can......"" well we say, that AND a whole lot more in our opinion. If you are in the market for new equipment, look no further than the excellent staff at Home Video Library for the expertise, honesty, solid recommendations and the best pricing. Oh yes, especially if you prefer to have your phone call answered by a real person, or chat with the owner, or get unsurpassed technical help every time, this is your shop! YOU FOLKS ROCK! more

I have had the priviledge of buying two HDTV's from this company and a TV stand. They did an awesome job delivering and setting up our purchase prior to Christmas this year. The staff helped us several years ago with a Direct TV issue we were having as well. Their advice was spot-on and we appreciated their honesty and integrity at that time. I shopped all around like we all do for a new LCD TV set. What a waste of time:-( If you want over the top service that you don't have to pay for , this is your place.I have purchased 2 TVs from Ken, one of them had a problem. Ended up it just needed a software update. When he found out I was having trouble he did way more than anyone would expect....Way more! On top of getting it done for me, he gave me a loaner set right off the shelf until the update could be performed. Try going to wall-mart or Costco and getting a loaner until yours get fixed. They would look at you like your crazy just for suggesting it.. I got turned on to this place by word of mouth referral. They have far exceeded my expectations. I am a customer for life! Thank you. I went in with certain Receivers in mind, the sales person told me all the pros and cons of the two models. He then showed me a third model in the same price range and took the time to explain all the buttons, dials, plug ins, bells and whistles. I decided to by the third model due to his knowledge and honesty. He even sold me a spliter cable for our Sub Woofer and a HDMI cable for OVER half off the price marked. I certainly wish I had gone here first rather than waste two days shopping at Best Buy. more

I've nothing but good feelings when i come out of this store. I feel i get a real good deal for what i bought and the salesman are very honest and work with you on getting the best deal for you.I've been shopping here for i would say 20 years.I've bought all my audio/video systems/speakers TV's ,cordless phones. I have purchased from Home Library Electronics several times, Two HD tv's and a HD Satellite receiver and a analog tv and DVD player. Each time, I was treated well, Their staff is well informed and friendly. Their selection is good and their prices are very competitive. Highly recommended! more

I purchased a camcorder there many years ago and was in need to rent a mini dv camcorder to put some files onto dvd. I had gone in and they said they had already rented their mini dv camcorder for the day, one of the ladies that worked there unplugged the floor model and let me take it home for a rental for the night, which she didn't have to do. I was very pleased and excited to be able to get my work done after putting it onto a dvd...by the way, they also put any kind of tape onto dvd for you for only 10.00. Thanks again HVLE, I will definitely shop there again. more
