I love my apt. 10/22/2008

For apt communities, this is one of the best! I will admit that I've had my issues with past management of this building but I think the most recent property manager, Gwen, is fantastic. She has made numerous improvements to the already luxury building. Plus, whenever I have a complaint, she happily addresses it without any sort of attitude. My suggestion is to get a unit on the 1st Street side of the building. I love my exposed concrete pillars and finished concrete in my fully stocked kitchen. While rent seems a bit high, I love how almost everything is included in the rent (Central AC, Heat, basic cable, washer/dryer, etc.). Additionally, the gym is decently equiped with the basics, a tanning bed and sauna. The business center is always available and you can print for free. I also love how the market, dry cleaner and wine bar are connected. It's SO convenient. The only constructive criticism I have are that your lease doesn't go month-to-month after your first year (you have to pay more for it to do so) and the lack of cable options (only DIRECTV). Also, I preferred my front loading washer/dryer in my first apt better than the one I have now. All-in-all, this is as worthwhile as it gets! Pros: Apartments, location, all-inclusive, manager, market in the building Cons: No month-to-month lease after 1st year, current washer/dryer more

  • Heritage Landing is located in the Minneapolis Warehouse District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. During the mid-nineteenth century, this area on the Mississippi River near St. Anthony Falls served as an early settlement site for the town of Minneapolis. By the late nineteenth century, the Heritage Landing site was the home of the Northern Pacific Railroad yard. The original site's most outstanding architectural feature was the massive, locally-quarried limestone retaining wall which enveloped the recessed railroad yard. Parts of that original wall can still be viewed within Heritage Landing.

The apartment homes at Heritage Landing will make you feel as though you have stepped into the elegance of the past. These distinctive homes are accommodating as well as unique.
