Mr. Herder removed my mortgage on my house 1/8/2022

I have used Mr. Herders services previously to file a bankruptcy and my case was handled professionally. Recently I had to contact them for some information on my old case and he was very helpful and provided the information I needed quickly. The issue involved a mortgage that was thankfully removed 10 years ago. He looked up the records and his office did the job perfect. He remembered me and actually answered the phone too. He has the same high energy in the past. Does he ever sleep? He also explained that I could not accomplish the result now. I timed the bankruptcy just right. Thank you Mr. Herder for all of your help. I recommend the law office to anyone looking to file a bankruptcy! more

Mark called me on Christmas Day! 12/26/2021

I knew Mark from his involvement with the Ohio State football saturdays at Ohio Stadium. I since when on to compete professionally and am now a team scout and coordinator. I was in financial distress, and it is difficult to think clearly and make good decisions . That, in addition to not understanding a legal process complicates matters even more. When I first contacted him, Mark explained the law, outlined in clear language the steps in the process that needed to be done. He was knowledgable as well. I was served on Christmas Eve with a summons for another matter and I did not seriously expect a return call from the office until Monday. Mark called me back on Christmas Day. This is remarkable in todays world. He is also a busy piano player during the holiday seasons, but he still called me and shared his time with me. I am most impressed with this type of work ethic. Just filed my bankruptcy case! 1/20/2020

Just filed the bankruptcy case and I am really pleased so far. Kelsey was very thorogh and Mr. Herder has explained to me all of the steps needed. I have a court time at the bankruptcy court and Mr. Herder just reached out to me again to confirm. I am very glad I found this office. Nice parking spots as well. more

Mark is my bankruptcy attorney 12/8/2019

On a Saturday evening just before the Big Ten championship game, Mark called me back from Indianapolis about my questions about the counseling course. I am totally impressed with this level of service. This is my second chapter 13 bankruptcy case with Mark Herder and his office moved very quickly to get my vehicle back. I know that he is also with the OSU football department and I could not be more pleased with his true care and concern. Go Bucks! more

Quick and very efficient! 7/13/2019

I learned about bankruptcy attorney Mark Herder from a real estate agent friend, who said that the experience with his law office would be smooth and painless. The bankruptcy process can be very humiliating to say the least, but the staff and especially Brittany (a lawyer in the office) made the filing of my bankruptcy case very quick, efficient and nonthreating. Every aspect was carefully explained along the way and everything was repeated so that the average individual can process all of the information. The staff was able to communicate the needs so that it is not just another unapproachable foreign language. I felt like I was being served in a genuine way at all times. Mark Herder even called me at 6:30 PM on a Saturday (in the middle of the summer) to remind me of some important information that I still needed to provide his office. This office obviously knows how to run things and I am looking forward to working a future with no debt! I appreciate them so much. more

This office really helped me 2/11/2019

True care and concern from Mark Herder and his assistant Bethany. I hired this office for my bankruptcy several years ago and have stabilized my finances since then. I had a suspended drivers license and they were able to wipe out the fees from the B.MV. I now am a proud home owner and realize that his office was a real asset to me. more

Successful chapter 13 experience to save my home 12/5/2018

I just finished my chapter 13 bankruptcy case with Mark Herder and am very, very pleased with his services. I had 2 pieces of real estate in the case and Mark was able to arrange things so that the last 5 years have been very successful. I was able to eliminate 2 mortgages through the process and still keep my main residence. When I was shopping around in the beginning, other bankruptcy attorneys had suggested that I follow through with mortgage modification. Mark pointed out that this was not a good strategy for me at all. I have also been able to reestablish my credit along the way too and am now looking forward to retiring in my home that was saved in the bankruptcy! more

Outstanding bankruptcy lawyer 2/11/2018

I hired Mark Herder for my bankruptcy last Monday, and he filed my Chapter 13 on Friday. Very quick and efficient -- very much to the point. He and his staff do not mess around with upsell and other unnecessary garbage that I encountered with another bankruptcy attorney in Columbus. I discovered him through a friend, who also had an excellent experience with Mark. He also did not try to gouge me with crazy upfront fees. Thank you again! more

Extremely quick 4/22/2017

I first spoke with Mark Herder on the phone Friday morning. His office immediately responded to my financial problem which was a emergency - no runaround or waiting for some overcomplicated process. His website is very simple, but it works. Not some garbage that is over my head. Late Friday afternoon, it only took his office 8 hours to file my bankruptcy case! more

Very conscioutious and aggressive attorney 3/18/2017

Very consciountious and aggressive attorney. I now can answer the phone without worrying about making a payment on one of my over limit credit cards. My student loans have stopped bothering me as well. Mark Herder filed my bankruptcy case for just $400.00 and I am very pleased. I go to court next month and I have signed up for some free financial courses given by the trustees office. Very happy with the process! more

excellent service from him 2/24/2017

I never had the need for any lawyer before I was faced with crushing debts. On top of that, this crazy collection outfit unannounced took all of my money from my bank account. Because I had heard of bankruptcy before from his advertising, I called Mark Herder and he called me back the same day, that night. I visited his office and I was actually able to get alll of the money back with the bankruptcy case. My experience was not just average, it was outstanding. Thank you to this office since they are real and they helped me out of a financial mess that I had unfortunately let go of for far too long. more
