Suberb Salon Experience 11/2/2010

Kathy has cut and colored my hair to near perfection many times and it's always a pleasure to have her work on my hair. When I sit down in her chair I know I am trusting my hair to an experienced professional who knows her way around even the most difficult types of hair. She really values her clients satisfaction and will help adjust your cut/color later if you change your mind about what you want. Also, the atmosphere at the salon itself is very calming. more

Owner/Operator Kathy Aguilar is fantastic...I visited Hello Gorgeous when my stylist of ten+ years began working there and after my first visit and observing Kathy with clients I switched to Kathy and have never regretted the choice! In love with my look 6/11/2010

I have my hair done by two wonderful stylists at this salon and I would reccomend them both to anyone who wants a amazing overall look. I normally get my hair done by Anna cutright but when she is unavailable then I go to Tiana Prescott. Today Tiana did wonders with a great layering technique that I absolutely fell in love with. I thank the artists for always making others turn their head to look at their work. Thanks ladies. more

I've been going to Tiana for a couple years now. Every time I go in I leave feeling great about my hair (plus the hubby LOVES it) lol. If you know me then you know how picky I am with my hair. I usually drive people nuts with the tiniest things I want them to do. But Tiana always listens and even comes up with great things to do to my hair that I hadn't thought of before. She's very creative and very friendly. I only wish I could take her with me when I move out of state. :) Pros: creative, friendly, good prices Cons: nada more

Best cut and style I've ever had 5/20/2010

I had received a horrible haircut and color from another salon, and was referred to Kathy by a friend. Kathy truly cared about what I wanted and gave me a cut and color that more then exceeded my expectations. I was amazed that she was able to create a cute, stylish hairstyle out of what I gave her to work with. She also corrected my hair color and gave me exactly what I wanted. Kathy is friendly and makes sure she knows what YOU want before putting you in her chair. If you're not satisfied with your current stylist, give Kathy a call. You won't be disappointed! This is the best place! 3/17/2010

I have had Tiana and Anna do my hair for years. I would never let anyone else touch it. I am very hard to please with my colors and hair cuts, they always listen and it always turns out GREAT! It is a wonderful, friendly atmosphere. It might be out of the way if you live in Portland, but you also won't pay the higher Portland prices and get the best quality and service. Check them out...you won' be sorry! Oh...and Tiana also does Manicures and Pedicures. Spoil yourself!! more

Anna is the best!! 3/16/2010

I have been seeing Anna for going on 4 years now. I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. Anna has done various styles and colors for me ranging from conservative to drastic color combinations. She is wonderful at listening to what you want and helping you decide if that will really work for you. She has also educated me on proper hair care...Teaching me about what my hair really needs to be healthy. My husband gets his haircut by Anna and is always pleased with it. She is also great at waxing and shaping my hard to deal with eyebrows. Prices are reasonable, conversation is lively and the atmosphere is friendly. Overall, coming to Hello Gorgeous (even though it is a drive to Hillsboro for me), is a great experience and I wouldn't trade Anna for anything! Pros: Too many pros to name them all! more

Anna is a hair Queen! 3/11/2010

Anna is the best!! I have gone to her for many years and I will never go to anyone else. She has a spunky and fun style and she will always listen to what I say. and tell me what would be best for my hair. I have done every color in the book and it always looks great. She is really good with my curly hair, because she also has curly hair so she understands all the tricks about it. I tell everyone I know to go to her, she cuts my kids' and my husbands' hair too. So Hello Gorgeous is like a one stop shop for us. The atmosphere is really relaxed and the kids love to watch the flat screen tv while they get their cuts. We love it, and you should go see Anna! Pros: She always makes me look amazing Cons: Only seeing her every few months more

I have been in the Portland area for almost 21 years. Kathy listens and understands what her client wants and gives it to them. I am sorry that it took me that long to find her! Her cuts and color are the best. The best thing about all of this is that she is the nicest person to work with and makes you feel special. Pros: Best person in Metro area doing hair! more

Horrible 1/20/2010

I was going to Kathy several times, she was a nice person and all but never really quite got my hair correct. Thought i would give her the benefit of the doubt so i recommended her to my mother. She SCREWED over my mom. She went to go get her hair dyed and Paid over $100 to not even do her hair correctly! She sent my mom home with wet hair dye and told her she can take it off in 1 hour! So my mom basically had to wash her own hair out and blow dry it. To top it off her hair came out multi-colored. My mother then requested that she get her money back and see if she can do something for her hair. Kathy said sure set up a time to meet my mother. She never was there to see my mothers hair! Some other stylist had to give her some advice and it took Kathy over 2 weeks to refund my mother money back. For that reason i am now seeing one of her former stylist!! All the money i spent was worthless! Pros: Nice Person Cons: Horrible Service more

Best cut and color 1/8/2010

Kathy is the greatest stylist I've ever been to. I'm almost 60 years old, used to be a model and so have gone to many stylists. I'm also very picky. Kathy is great to be with and she's honest. She always makes me look younger than I am because of her up-to-date hair styles. I've recommended her to my family and friends. I Trust her with my hair and I cant do that with any one else! she's just a really good person and easy to get along with. which is something you need when you in the chair getting your hair done. Kathy is a dream! She correct the damage from years of home dye jobs and a really bad cut. I came in ready to give up and she has put me well on my way to the hair that I want. Kathy is honest - she will tell you if a cut/color will look good on you. She NEVER trys to push a product or service on you. In fact, I came in wanting highlights and she actually told me ""no, not yet"". My sisters see Annie and Rachel - both FABULOUS of course. My conservative sister walked out looking like a complete diva - oooh la la! The salon is cozy, warm and the staff is like a family. Don't think about it - just do it! Hellooooo Gorgeous... One Great Hair Faerie 10/22/2009

Anna Kolsky has been doing my hair for about 4-5 years now, from one extreme to the other. Black to bleach, perm to not, pink, purple, you name it i've done it. I would highly recommend her! she listens, she's thorough, and goes out of her way to make sure it's exactly what you want. GO SEE ANNA K!!! (you won't be sorry) oh, and she waxes too! bonus!
