I've been using this vet for over 20 years. The people are great, very caring, have taken care of all my animals over the years. you can't ask for better care for your animals. Wish I got this great care from my human docs! more

Dr. Wehby and Dr. Strange 10/1/2009

Dr. Wehby and Dr. Strange have taken great care of my dog and cats. My dog loves going to the vet and she visits quite often as I do travel a lot. They are very loving to her. Dr. Wehby and Dr. Strange have been very patient with me because I am an over protective pet owner and tend to ask a lot of questions or get overly worried about my pets' health! I highly recommend HHAH! They do love the animals and it shows! more

They are wonderful! 'Fixed' our boy guinea and .... 7/2/2008

Everyone is so nice at Harpeth Hills and very knowledgeable. The vet asst. let me ask about a million questions without showing any impatience and was very comforting regarding my anxieties over this surgery. \r \r We (my son and I) should have listened to their pre-op instructions instead of acting like we knew something-- ok, I'm admitting that! :) We caused a problem and they were still able to get Petey safely through his operation\r \r My friend recommended them to me and she was right about them. She has exotics, too and said there isn't a better place in mid-tn to take all our animals.\r \r It isn't easy finding a vet in Nashville who will even look at a guinea pig and now I'll feel very comfortable if any of the piggies need vet care. (also the cats and other animals we have).\r \r The prices are average, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the neutering was.\r \r I highly and without any reservations recommend them. more

2 strikes and I'm done 5/5/2008

Following a well visit for our cat with pills for worms, cat would not take them, I returned within 20 mins to ask for a different way to give medication and was charged AGAIN for the medication crushed into liguid because "the pills had left the building. \r Dr. Butler kindly put our beloved dog down. After a few months of healing and searching for another companion for our other dog, we found a rescued one in Bedford county that needed to be spayed and evaluated as soon as possible as she was in heat. Big no from HHAH, other animal hospitals will spay her just for an extra fee for the mess. So I wonder yet again, why I even try to patronize a place that makes it so difficult on animal loving owners or why such a great guy like Dr. Butler lets unfriendly, unhappy people and policies represent him. more

the best! 11/6/2007

I have taken my dog to Dr. Butler at Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital for the past 13+ years. Since puppy-hood to old adult dog, Dr. Butler has shown much love, professionalism, and care for my beloved pet. I can not imagine taking my pet to any other vet in the Nashville area. more

Great Vets and Great Staff! 11/2/2007

I have been taking my pets to Harpeth Hills Animal Hospital for years. They take great care of the animal patients, from little rodents to Great Danes. :) When I have taken a sick animal in to be seen, someone usually calls me the next day to see how he/she is doing. I like that! The vets give excellent and compassionate care. And you can tell from the caring way the staff handles the patients that they are truly animal lovers. The receptionists are very personable and efficient, making sure things go smoothly. When I go there, I feel like they are glad to see me and my animals! My pets are very important to me, and I have been very happy with the care given to us at Harpeth Hills. Pros: Easy to get an appointment. Excellent handling of emergencies. more

Great with Animals 8/28/2007

I changed vets because the staff at my other vet ignored my dog and kept me waiting too long. My dog barks anxiously wanting to "play" with other dogs. It is a little frustrating at times for me. The staff at Harpeth Hills comes from behind the counter and talks and plays with the animals. They are great, not like the other place that just looks at you like you are a bother. Pros: great with anxious animals, walk-in no problem more

I have taken my dog to many different vets over the past 4 years and have decided to make Harpeth Hills the only place to take her. They are the best! more

Doggy loves this place 7/20/2005

My dog does not fear her vet at all. They are very nice and thorough and provide a wide variety of services. I especially like the fact that they are open on Saturdays. That is very convenient. The staff is friendly and always greets us with a smile. They offer grooming, boarding, hospitalization, vet services and pet food and supplies for purchase. It is a very busy and popular place and when we move, I will make the drive to go here. more
