Sara Stevens is the best hairdresser I have ever had. She always asks questions and listens to my answers BEFORE she does anything with my hair. I love that! I totally relax while her magic fingers massage my scalp while she shampoos. Best of all, my appointment is not complete until she hears me say that I am pleased - I KNOW you will be, too! more

Sara Stevens has been my hairdresser for a few years. She always listens and makes good suggestions about cutting, styling, and coloring my hair. In my most recent visit, I wanted to change up my hair color and so I gave her carte blanche to do whatever she wanted to do. Admittedly, I was a little nervous but boy was I pleased! She incorporated lowlights and highlights and I absolutely loved the results! I would strongly suggest Sara to anyone! more

Nicole is the BEST!!! The first time I came in my hair was a mess!!!!!! I cant even tell you how bad the haircut I had from another place was.... (BIG patchs WAY shorter then others) But she explained the direction my hair grew and apologized when she had to cut my hair super short to fix all the patchs! But as short as it was it looked awesome and grew in perfectly to the style I was going for. Since then she has done an amazing job with my CRAZY curly hair. She cuts hair in the right directions and with the curl so you dont need 10 lbs of gel or mouse to tame the beast! it just lays where its supposed to with no fight. She totally rocks! If you need a fix or want a hair cut that works with you hair not against it she the girl to see! more

Shea is great! 4/23/2012

I just had full highlights done with Shea and love what she did! My hair has been black for several years now and I was interested in starting to lighten it. I knew it would take several visits to do that but still was extremely pleased with Shea's results! The highlights aren't the typical brassy blonde but look very natural on my very dark hair. Sharon has been doing my hair since shortly after moving to the Raleigh area 3 years ago and I could not imagine having anyone else do it! Sharon is amazing and I have LOVED everything she has ever done to my hair and this is coming from a girl who is changing her hair color/style OFTEN!! I have been going to see Sharon for over 3 years now. The first time I ever had her do my hair was by pure luck..I walked in with no appt, and no specific stylist in mind..ever since that SHARON has been the only one to touch my hair. I trust her with my hair more than any other stylist that i have previously seen. All I have to do is tell her what kind of look I'm going for and she makes it happen, I just let her go with it and have fun with my hair (color & cut), I know no matter what she does it's going to turn out amazing! If you are looking for a stylist who can do it ALL, and also someone you can talk to about anything..go see Sharon...She is wonderful and thats all there is to it! more

So glad I found haircolorxperts 10/12/2011

Last week I went to Jen at haircolorxperts for the first time to have my hair colored darker for the fall/winter seasons. I am always skeptical about going to a new salon to get my hair colored and cut because I have had many bad experiences in the past, but she did exactly what I envisioned! My hair looks like a natural color brown and the style fits my shaped face perfectly—she cut off exactly how much I wanted unlike most hairstylists. I am really pleased with the way my hair turned out and would recommend her to anyone who isn’t looking to spend a fortune on their hair. I can’t wait to see what she can do for my hair in the spring! more
