I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 1/3/2023

My daughter has been enrolled in their gymnastics for about a year, she has barely learned anything new. These classes are VERY expensive compared to other places. When I watch her sessions there is a lot of "down time" and not a lot being taught to the class. She does enjoy it and says she has fun but it's not definitely not productive. My daughter has had 4 different instructors all within this year, and only one of them (to my knowledge) could actually do any kind of gymnastics. Also, I have had issues keeping my daughter in the same class because they didn't tell me about "auto enrollment"- I didn't have any issues keeping her in her class for the first few months or so and all of the sudden she is no longer able to be in that class and had to be moved because the class was full. Actually, they told me that specific class time was not available anymore and that was the reason she was bumped, when in all actuality, the class was still scheduled- they actually just over booked the class. I found this out because my daughter's good friend is in her same class and I spoke to her mother who informed me the class is in fact still scheduled. Whenever I try and call this place they almost never answer, I have to call several times- sometimes several times over the course of the day to get a hold of ANYONE. You can try and leave a message but they don't always call back. There have been issues with being over charged, and you have to work to get your money back. Overall, I would not choose this place for gymnastics. more

Gymagine's refund/makeup policy is the BEST! 8/10/2020

I had two sessions left over from before the pandemic and was worried they would not give me my money back, which is what some other gyms have done in the past for missed classes. Gymagine was amazing though! They offered me a full refund for my remaining classes, but we decided to just make them up instead. No strings attached! They have by far the BEST refund/makeup policy of any gym I have taken my kids to. They truly care about their customers and I cannot recommend them enough! more

Great choice for COVID-19 gymnastics! 8/10/2020

This gym has made us feel so safe during the COVID-19 nightmare that we will for sure be back. They sanitise daily, they make sure everyone is wearing a mask at all times, and they have done proper social distancing all around the gym. Glad I took my kids here! more

Gymagine cancels and then says "NO REFUNDS" 3/18/2011

I signed my daughter up for a Friday class and paid for the whole session (6 weeks of lessons I think). After the first lesson we were told that there was not enough participants so it would merge with the Thursday class (a day my daughter is unable to attend). My daughter was extremely disappointed, but to make matters worse, Gymagine would not give me a refund for the remaining lessons!!! They said I could only receive "credit" towards future lessons. I just about came unglued as I can't imagine any business thinking it is okay (or legal) to accept money from a customer and then cancel the date and not offer a refund. A few days later a manager called me and said she would give me a refund "this one time", but that their policy is usually NO REFUNDS only credit. I think Gymagine needs to study up on the law and the term "bait and switch" and they will learn that they are breaking the law by denying refunds when THEY cancel or change a date. It doesn't matter that they eventually gave the refund. Who wants to do business with a company that makes you get nasty just to get what is fair? They lost me forever and I have 3 kids that would have taken lessons with them. I guess I am still bitter about my first experience with Gymagine 8 years previously. I signed two kids up for a "parents night out" event as I had a work-related Christmas party to go to. When I arrived at Gymagine their doors were locked up and I thought I had the dates wrong and went into a panic. They had no message about a cancellation on their phone machine, no sign in the door, etc. A few other parents also showed up. We later found out that they canceled the event! (a phone call or something would have been appreciated!!) more

Watch out for their "NO REFUND" policy 3/18/2011

My first and only experience with Gymagine was not so good. I signed my daughter up for a Friday class and paid for the whole session (6 weeks of lessons I think). I just about came unglued as I can't imagine any business thinking it is okay (or legal) to accept money from a customer and then not honor the agreement by switching the day of the class. A few days later a "manager" called me and said she would give me a refund "this one time", but that their policy is usually NO REFUNDS only credit. I think Gymagine needs to study up on the law and the term "bait and switch" and they will learn that they are breaking the law by denying refunds when THEY cancel or change a date. It doesn't matter that they eventually give the refund if the customer complains enough. The fist time they say "no" to a refund request based on a change or a cancellation THEY make, they are breaking the law!!! Some one should report them! We then joined another gym where we heard similar complaints about Gymagine "bait and switch" and "no refund policy" scam. more

Gymagine is TERRIBLE !!!!! 3/14/2011

I had my son at Gymagine for six months and the coaches for the younger kids are INCOMPETENT and that is being generous to give them that much credit.. The coaches for the younger kids (3-7 year old) are high school kids who do NOT know how to deal with younger kids. Half the time the coaches do not show up and then they scramble to find a fill in coach so they either consolidate 2 classes into 1 or they cancel the class all together. When they do show up, they do not know how to coach young kids, they are ineffective to communicate instructions. They do not demonstrate the activities to provide a visual so the kids can see what is being asked of them. I recently took my other son to a birthday party and it looks like they have actually gotten worse. My son takes gymnastics at a different gym and understands the basics but he completely shut down at Gymagine and refused to participate after 15min because the coaches do not interact with kids, they do not demonstrate moves and they do not provide any personal instructions. There were 4 instructors at the party and none of them provided any assistance or extra instructions to kids who were unfamiliar with a gym environment. There were kids crying and scared and needed a little assistance to walk across a balance beam and you would think someone would help the kids. Gymagine solution to kids crying and being scared was to provide instructions over a loud speak (P.A. system). If you are considering this place at all then take the free class and try one or two of the other gyms before you sign up. Once you participate in a gym that has competent instructors then you will not sign up for gymagine. There are gyms in Everett and in Mount lake terrace. I live close to gymagine and the extra drive time to a different gym is well worth the investment. In summary, the coaches at gymagine are high school kids with no experience and they have ZERO work ethic. more

A perfect 10! 4/14/2006

This is my daughter's gym and we love it! They are affiliated with USA Gymnasics, so the programs are designed to learn skills in a safe manner - and at the younger ages anyway, the emphasis is always on fun. My daughter has on occassion been scared to try certain things and she is never, ever pushed to do anything that is outside her comfort zone. Instead the coach reassures her that she's safe and that she would never let anything happen to my daughter, and that they can wait to try whatever it is until she's ready. This gym goes all the way through level 10, which is the last level before "elite" (Olympic caliber) - at that point, if they get that far they move to a gym in Mountlake Terrace called Cascade Elites. But this works for us for now! more
