THE OIL LEVEL ON DIP STICK WAS NOT CHECKED AFTER FILLING WITH NEW OIL AND TOO MUCH OIL (~2 PINTS OR MORE) WAS ADDED FOR THE PAST ALL OIL CHANGES. THE DIP STICK HAS PERMANENT MARK...

Questionable Knowledge and Ethics 2/11/2015

No attention to detail. Recommending un- needed service. e.g.; coolant flush that they had just performed 15K miles earlier. This is not a dealership that I will be returning to as I do not trust them. I would have liked to rated the dealership 0 out of 5 stars but the sight does not allow that. more

Car Maintenance 2/10/2015

I brought my sonata hybrid in for an oil change. The vehicle has 34,000 miles. The tech recommended a complete coolant flush and fuel injectors cleaned. The total cost was around $300. Neither item was listed on the maintenance schedule. I did not have the work done. The price for this work was out of line with what others charge. I left confused. more

Service Experience 2/8/2015

Our Hyundai Santa Fe is 5 years old now. We have always used the Gurnee Hyundai dealer to service the vehicle. I have found them to be helpful and courteous. The quality of the work is excellent. The vehicle has over 90 k miles and it has been trouble free. While it would be better the cost of the service were less, we believe their charges are aligned with what the local independent mechanics charge. more
