A family owned business is one that makes it very far in today’s world. Green Choice is one of those family owned businesses that you will definitely enjoy working with. Whether it be the secretary or the professional technicians they send over to assess your products, everything is done the right way. \r \r Having prior knowledge of a cleaning service I would say this company stole my heart and I have used them many times as well as recommended them to many private homes and companies that needed there services. \r \r I disagree with a few of the negative comments I have read due to the fact that some customers expect more than they give. I truly think this company is hard working and every word they have told me has pulled through. \r \r I made this account on city search just so I can write this review because this company deserved my time and they are very noble. \r \r The rug they cleaned for me was a 8 x 10, very expensive rug that was passed on through my family with great sentimental value. I was honestly very scared to have someone come and wrap up my rug and take it with them to have it washed, sanitized and to fix the end strands. With that the technician re assured me that everything would be fine and I would not be disappointed. Indeed, when my rug was delivered for free once I unraveled it all I could remember was my childhood memories. It was not only cleaned and freshened but also taken very good care of. \r \r The reason I recommended Green Choice is because they are not going to just take your money. They actually take the time and effort to work with you until you are 100% satisfied. \r \r \r Go Green or go HOME! \r more

I decided to call a professional cleaning since my apartment was having a real dust problem and vacuuming was not solving the problem. There were also a few stains on the carpet. One a water stain from a plant we use to keep and the rest just dropped food or sauce. I called on Wednesday and made the appointment for Thursday and arrived in the time slot they gave me. After filling up their machine they started cleaning and finished up in about 45 minutes. Since they were already here I has them do a chair that I dont think I ever cleaned. The price for the 2 rooms and my chair was very good and the cleaners were very nice and moved around the furniture to clean underneath more

They destroyed our beautiful sheepskin ecowool rugs. We sent them a small one and an Octo (which is 8 sheepskins stitched together). It took them 1 week to send them both back to us destroyed. We told them we wouldn't accept them the way they were and they took it back and now it has been a month. Last night they delivered the smaller of the 2 and it was still destroyed. It seems they washed in such high heat that they shrunk the wool. They are very incompetent, lack integrity and are not to be trusted. They should have never accepted the job if they did not know how to clean sheepskin rugs! Do not send your rugs to them. I can't believe they have an 80% rating!! They must have their employees and friends write on this site to try to get more customers(or suckers) to have their rugs destroyed!!! more

Stay away! They destroyed my expensive persian rug and repeated efforts to contact a manager to resolve the issue have been fruitless. I had to return another rug to be re-cleaned when they brought it back with the stain I sent it out to have removed came back untouched. The other rugs were ok, but they charged over twice as much as originally estimated over the phone. Seems like a big scam, I wish I never called them. more

I was thouroughly satisfied with the service provided by Greenchoice. Recently, I moved into Brooklyn and I needed to have my couch and a couple rugs cleaned. I wanted something that was non-toxic and safe as I have gotten sick before in the past. Greenchoice fit the bill. They were very accomodating and had a technician at my apartment in Brooklyn in no time. He was friendly and detailed in his work. Would do business with them again. more

First, they would not give me a quote over the phone as advertised. I agreed to have a technician come look at my area rug. He was an hour and a half late. The call center kept telling me the whole time that he was almost there. When he finally arrived he kept answering his phone and yelling at someone on the phone in my house disturbing my house and making me wait even more. I reluctantly agreed to have the company clean my rug. It was supposed to be delivered last week but they had to postpone till yesterday and then yesterday they had to postpone till today between 8 and 11. Today at 11 the technician called to say he would be an hour and a half late. Furthermore, when I called the company they were no help whatsoever and often told me they would call me back and did not. more

They are not expensive rugs but have used them in several apartments and like them quite a bit. My wool rug definately lost some of its body but other rugs just needed a good cleaning. When I got the rugs back my wool rug was once again very soft and seemed to regain its deep red color which was nice to see. Other rugs were also nice and clean. Very happy everything got done to my satisfaction. more

Green choice sent their technician to get a urine stain and odor out of my $3,000 sofa. I can't believe how much more fresh and newer it looks now than it did before! It looks as though I just bought the couch as is. I couldn't ask for a better service at such a great price! Job well done Green Choice. Thank you sooooo much. I will definitely use Green Choice as my primary carpet cleaners just as long as they provide me with such great service and results! more

When I called Green Choice the secretary was very friendly and patient answering all of my questions. She booked an appointment for me two days after I called. They do require a two hour window though so be prepared to take some time off. When the technicians arrived they were very professional and answered all of the questions that I had for them. I never had carpet or upholstery cleaning before so i appreciate the fact that they took their time to walk me through the process. The technician was able to detect major stain problems that I really hadn't noticed before. I'm glad that they did otherwise I would have been really upset if I discovered them later on. You know? About two weeks ago my dog got sick (poor guy) and had a few accidents on my beautiful oriental rug! I immediately went searching on the Internet for a company that would not only clean the mess up but get rid of the odor as well. I came across Green Choice and gave them a call. The customer representative that i spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions and even informed me that they are a green company. I have two pets and 2 children, so it was reassuring to know that they wouldn't be using any harmful chemicals. They scheduled my appointment next day between 10am and 12pm. I wasn't present the technician came to the house but my husband said that the technician was very friendly and informative. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with what he explained to my husband and the price was reasonable, thus we were confident enough to have the rug picked up by the technician. About 7 days later Green Choice called us to schedule a delivery. On the day of the delivery the technician couldn't reach me on my cell while I was in the shower so their office left a message on my voicemail informing me that the technician was at my house and he would wait 15 minutes to hear back from me. I was sooooo relieved that they did this, otherwise I would have missed the delivery of my rug and that would not have been good at all. When I received the rug, the technician brought it up to my apartment, took it out of the plastic wrap for me and laid it out for e in the dining room. My husband was extremely happy about this because he didn't have to worry about the doing all of that work! LOL. Anyway, I was able to pay my balance via one phone call and that ended my carpet cleaning experience. I am very pleased. I already recommended Green Choice to my neighbors. I will also recommend to my family and friends. My mom has already set up an appointment with them to have her mattress cleaned. I highly recommend this company! more
