Tone down on the selling 8/29/2011

I like my haircut and highlights! The stylist did a great job, but i was a bit uneasy and uncomfortable with all the selling I was hit with the whole time I was at the salon. I left a bit overwhelmed by the time I left the place. It would make my visit more relaxing if I wasn't just about meeting a quota. Please tone down on the selling. Just a thought. more

The selling 8/29/2011

I love my haircut and highlights. The stylist and assistant stylists are great. The only thing I was a little overwhelmed by was all the selling that happened during my visit to the salon. I understand the need to sell, but for me I go in with a budget and a time frame in mind. I know I can just say no...but still I want to be treated as a respected client not just as a way to meet a quota. I plan on returning with an anticipation of hoping the selling would be toned down a bit on the next round. Also each client should be treated with as much attention as the next no matter what your spending. After all we are people just trying to look our best and going to glendale hair salon to do so. Just thought I would point that out. more

Color Review 8/26/2011

I have had my colored 3 times with Renee and the color is more natural and has lasted longer (only my roots need touch up!) than with my previous colorist at another salon. I definitely feel that I am getting my money's worth. The salon environment is relaxing and everyone is welcoming. I highly recommend them to others. more

I love going to an appointment where my hairdresser is personable, friendly, and easy to talk to. Tamera is very talented and easygoing and I enjoyed her company as much as the amazing job she did on my hair! I love the environment of Glendale Salonspa and I especially love the natural Aveda products. The prices are very fair across the board. Thank you! more

Wont trust anyone else 8/16/2011

There has not been one time that I have gotten my hair cut and highlighted and I didn't love it! I have been going to this salon for like 8 years now and I don't trust anyone else with my hair. They don't just make your hair look amazing, they make you feel comfortable while you're there. They offer you from wine to coffee and make sure you have a good experience while getting your hair done. The only bad thing is that you have to always remember to take cash for tip because they dont accept tip on your card. more

You can have a day of beauty if you play your cards right. Get a haircut, color and your nails done! I have been going to this salon for years. Work your schedule so you can really enjoy a relaxing experience. It always smells good! more

Love the Salon and Have One Wish 8/7/2011

I love coming to Glendale Salon and Spa. The people are wonderful and I always feel pampered. I just have one wish and that would be for you to stop trying so hard to sell Aveda products. It is already expensive to come there and I feel pressured sometimes to buy the products. Sometimes I just cannot afford it and I feel uncomfortable. That is my only suggestion for improvement. Everything else is close to perfection. If there is such a thing. more

Very Pleased With My Color 8/1/2011

After my old hairstylist went missing, I was forced to do some research and found the Glendale Salon Spa via reviews on Yelp. Renee has colored my hair 2 times and I am very pleased. The color is exactly what I had been asking for with my old colorist, and not getting - a simple match to my natural non-gray color. The color lasts and does not look washed out by the next appointment. I will definitely recommend Renee and Salon Spa to others. more
