I had my windshield replaced by Glass Doctor about a month ago and the customer service person who took my order was wonderful! She was very informative and professional.The scheduling department called me within an hour of placing my order and they arrived on time as promised by the scheduler. The work quality was also great and the technician was wonderful. Seemed to care about the quality of work he was performing. 1 hour later I had a new windshield and I must say I'm truly pleased with the entire establishment. I have and will continue to recommend to my friends and family more

Glass Doctor installed a windshield in my truck and a couple of windows in my house. They filed the insurance claim for my windshield and were very quick to install the windows in my house. They did a great job and I will continue to use them for my glass needs. more

I called Glass Dr and it must have been after hours (5:30 pm) and I was told by an automated voice that all lines were busy and to remain on the line. So I did. Then after a few minutes of listening to the jingle my call was just ended. I then tried later (8:00 pm) same thing. I then went to the website and put in a request to be contacted, and big shock I was not contacted. If you want help with a broken window call Raleigh Glass & Marrow Co., Inc.- 6305 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, N.C.- 919-779- 5880, ask for Gerald. The phone rang once and I had a person on the line. Gerald then got someone to come to my house in a couple of hours. Pros: Non, they never called me back Cons: They never called me back more

I called the day my window broke. Said someone would call that afternoon. Nobody did. I called the next day,The operator could not give me a ballpark estimate on the phone. Really? you work for a glass company taking phone calls all day about replacing glass and you can't even give me a ballpark? Man comes out to measure and give quote, told me it would take 5-7 days to order glass for a bedroom window. Then once the piece is in, they will call to make an install date. Meanwhile my bedroom is freezing. They come to your home to give a high estimate thinking once they're in your house you will agree. No thanks I shopped somewhere else for half the price. Pros: Nice Van Cons: Time it takes to fix a window more

We had Glass Doctor cut a piece of glass and polish the edges to replace a missing shelf in a china cabinet we bought at a closeout. The quoted price was fair, the completion time was within a week and when my wife went to pick up the shelf, the staff was courteous and very helpful. We readily recommend Glass Doctor to our friends. more

It was the middle of the night during a storm a garbage can lid came crashing through my front room window. We did manage to board it up so as the rain would not get in. I then started to call around to find someone who could fix it right away. After a # of calls with no luck I got a hold of The Glass Doctor and to my disbelief they were there right away and got the job done before I had to go to work. I would recommend them to any one that needs a window fixed and doesn't have the time to wait on the other companies. Pros: 24 hour service Cons: none that I could find more

I used Glass Doctor to have a windshield installed in my vehicle. The gentleman that did the work was fast, effiicient and friendly. He explained the warranty and it looks great! I have had no problems with leakage or anything. I also had several insulated windows installed. They came out and measured and within two weeks, the glass was installed. It looks great and I am so glad that I don't have foggy windows anymore! I am getting ready now to have some glass cut for my son's new bedroom furniture and desk. more

Called to have broken window replaced. The owner came out to measure for the new window. Installation day came, and installer informs me that the two different windows he has will not fit. Was told that they had to reorder and window would be in midweek. Informed installer I would not be taking anymore time off work, so installation would have to take place on the weekend. He said no problem, I will do it. Weekend came and installer is a no show. Did not call to say he was not coming, just did not show up. He finally came on Sunday to install and proceeded to whack the window with a hammer. Hello! A hammer and a window do not mix! He breaks the window. He then says he will order another window or He can cut out the broken pane and ""glue in another pane"". Well, why couldn't you do that to start with? Why charge me for an entire new window when you have the ability to just fix the broken pane? Owner calls and says I will give $30 off the price. $30! That's not what I make in an hour. What a rip off this company is. I will never call them again! Pros: They can walk upright Cons: Too many to mention more

- POOR customer service: didn't call as was promised\r \r - POOR quality: shipped and installed the window section TWICE with incorrect grid spacing. I spent more money with this company with the expectation that they were going to install it quicker than others. BIG MISTAKE, it took Glass Doctor four (4) months to install a correct window section.\r \r - UNTRUSTWORTHY: the manager said that he was going to adjust the price for their mistakes and inconveniences ..... all just lip services.\r \r \r STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. more

I took a wire garden cart into them to have glass put in the two trays and it turned out better than I had hoped for. It now serves my needs as a liquor cart in my home. I recommend them to my friends and as a Realtor I use them for my clients glass needs. more

slow lousy services, made mistakes in the measurements and delivery. never trust the appointment time, and you will not receive a call if they are late. I called to find out when they could arrive. This add led me to believe the services of this business would be 'fast' -- beyond the usual 'wait' because they said, ""specializing in emergency glass repair"". I had 1 broken regular window, and 2 broken panes of glass in a 6-pane regular door. After it was measured, it took 3 business days to get an estimate, and a full week has gone by with the glass 'on order' -- with no estimate of when it can be installed. Does it really take more than a week to 'order' 4 pieces of glass? I've yet to get in install date. Cons: , Slow more
