This place is great, great location, great service, great ambiance, great food!! The staff is super proffessional and very prompt. The food is always good, i eat there quite often and have yet to find something that i dislike. The only downfall is that they can get super busy, and they do not take reservations, so go early to avoid crowds. Pros: Deliscious Italian Cuisine Cons: They do not take reservations, and they get very busy. Waits can be up to an hour. more

Great place for dinner 7/22/2005

The prices might be a bit high for the area, but coming from the Pasadena area, I thought everything was reasonable. My friend and I split the anitpasto platter which was good but nothing extraordinary. However, both of our pasta dishes were fantastic. I had one of the specials-- freshly made pasta with lamb in a red wine tomato sauce-- and my friend had shrimp scampi with rigatoni in an amazing sauce (I forget the name). Everytime we drive through or stay in Pismo this is a must eat place for us. A local review doesn't get it. But we do. Call it what you will, the food to us reminds us of being back in Italy. And we spent 3 weeks there. Wine list is high, we bring our own, but the food. great. Hot tip is to go when they first open 4 or 5. A fun place to dine 11/23/2004

Well worth the wait when there is one! I think the service is very good. The waiters are very knowledgeable in the food and wines they serve and they are always very pleasant! The wine Manager does an excellent job. Try one of their wine maker dinners some time, a very enjoyable event! Haven't had a bad meal yet, it's a great place to share with friends! I don't get it 6/15/2004

Ok, I'm a local so I don't understand the big hype over this place. It's more like nouvo Italian, so if you are looking for traditional Italian food you won't find it here. Prices are high and service is very slow. Everyone seems to rave about this place but I don't get it. Pros: Nouvo Italian, Great desserts Cons: , Non-traditional food more
