An excellent experience working with Girard. Mike arrived when promised, was very educational in his explanation of what went wrong with the garage door and what it would take to fix it. He did the job right then and finished when he said he would. He was also very helpful in explaining safety features of the system. I highly recommend this company and will use them again! more

Door opener functioning erratically 12/31/2013

I called for service on my garage door. Mike arrived within the 2 hour scheduled window. He accessed the situation and discovered several problems with the functioning of the door. The door rollers were worn out and the eye sensor wires were corroded and broken on one side. After replacing the rollers and fixing the sensors, the opener still functioned erratically. Mike determined the problem to be with the control board in the unit. The unit was too old to repair so he explained all the replacement options and had a new opener installed in no time. Now I have a practically brand new system which I expect to function for many years to come. Mike was courteous, knowledgeable and extremely professional. He even reprogramed the Home link in my car for the new opener. I would highly recommend Girard's Garage Door Services. more

Fixing my screw up 12/17/2013

I managed to back into my garage door, damaging it pretty well. I thought I would need to replace it. Mike told me he could straighten it out and save me from replacing it. He did a great job and it looks and works well, costing me only about one-tenth of the cost of a new door. more

Great Service by Mike 12/5/2013

Mike was a pleasure. And made sure my badly damaged garage door did not fall on my car, as it was hanging perilously above it. He called in a second truck as not not risk further damage. He did a great job and was forthright and professional. They also came same day I called. I would recommend them. more

Mike was great is educating us on what to do, 12/5/2013

We have 2 doors on our garage and a spring broke this morning. My wife called and Mike came immediately this morning- fitting us in on a busy day for him. His council allowed us to allow him to make the right repairs to that door. We intend to call next month to do the same thing to the other door even though the current door springs are still working. more

Great courteous and professional service. 12/4/2013

Originally called to have portions of our wood garage doors repaired; however, we decided to replace the old with new ones. Corey, the Tech. was knowledgeable and patient in answering our questions. When the order arrived, Corey installed the new doors, cleaned up, answered all of our questions and we are delighted with the doors which added so much appeal to our home. This was the second time we used Girard Garage Door Services, and thank them for their great work. We would definitely use them again if the need arises, and will recommend them to others. more

Excellent service! 12/4/2013

What a pleasant experience I had with this company. I called for service to replace four garage door springs. I was given a time frame for a service tech to come to my home and give me an estimate. Mike arrived promptly and reviewed with me what options I had to repair the garage doors. In less than one hour Mike made the repairs. All told, from my initial call to Girards to all work completed was less than three hours! Mike was courteous and very efficient. I highly recommend Girards for your garage repairs. more

Garage opener Installation 12/3/2013

Mike came to my house today because my garage door opener was not working. He assessed the situation and recommended I purchase a new liftmaster opener. He was very thorough in his assessment of my situation and I felt comfortable that I should agree with his recommendation. He immediately went to work on the replacement and within two hours I had a new opener. I was very pleased with the way he conducted himself from the time he arrived until he left. I would recommend Girard's Garage Door service without hesitation. Mike did a great job. more
