I called on a Friday morning and someone came out that afternoon to assess my needs and make recommendations. Then they were able to schedule me on Tuesday of the next week and arrived early. Blair and Mike were very professional and honest and are the type of workers it is a pleasure to have at my home. They were diligent, cleaned up after themselves, and left me with everything I needed, including the reassurance that they would be available if I needed further assistance. Our garage would not open at all. Thank goodness no cars were parked inside. That was the first thing they asked us when we called. We called at 7:30 and by 8:50 someone was at our home. He looked over the job and told my son that they needed two parts and could come back later in the afternoon between 4:00 and 6:00. He left a itemized bill and I called and okayed the job. Girard's were back exactly at 4:00 and patiently gave me advice and showed me how to avoid the problem arising again. He was neat and clean and could not have been any more efficient on a extremely hot afternoon. We will definitely call you again. Such efficient service is not easy to come by! Thanks! more

I was very pleased with the service I received from this company. They were very diligent in contacting me and letting me know he'd arrive at the timeslot promised. The tech even called on his way here and arrived on time. He was very courteous and did not try to sell me any extra services. He did a thorough inspection of both doors and noted any concerns. He did a great job replacing the broken spring and I was charged within the quoted range. There were no surprises. I am very glad I contacted this company and would highly reccommend them to friends. Response time was excellent; both techs were very courteous. After problems the first evening getting the door operational, they returned the following morning and proceeded to dismantle the whole system, replace the springs (and relocate them), replace the drums and reinforce the bracket, all without cost to me (I had paid $495 in March of this year for an overhaul). They also extended my 10-year warranty. more

Technician that came to service my door was rude and surprisingly unprofessional. He tried to frighten me that my doors were unsafe and that I had fix them immediately. While I had a bad feeling right away, I agreed to do some work. It was Saturday, and I didn’t want to leave my door broken. I end up paying hundreds of dollars for work and parts I didn’t need and even then my doors were not fixed. Next day I called a small local company, they fixed both doors in no time and for only a small fraction of what I paid to Girard’s. The difference in service and pricing was astonishing. more

Just a brief note to express my satisfaction with the service and repair to my garage door opening system. I called late in the afternoon and received a service call before noon the next day. The technician, Shawn, provided me with a thorough explanation of the needed repairs. After I authorized that they be done, he proceeded to expeditiously make the necessary repairs.
